Animation Lock Since Mid-July Patch

GM Guava requested that I post this when I caught her in game and brought this up. I would ask that anyone else with examples of animation lock on other skills, please post as well.

Bug Description :
In the last couple weeks, several players, myself included, have been dealing with a large amount of animation locking on certain specific skills. This is particularly severe in TBL and GVG, but on rare occasion it happens in normal every day PVE content, making the game considerably unfun to play. For me, covering fire does it the most. In the video you can see at the very beginning, I get turned around and the covering fire animation goes off but goes off very slowly, does not do damage, and does not go on CD. Shortly after, snipe begins to do the same thing where I use the skill, the sound and animation play, but I am locked in place and can’t do anything.

Please fix ASAP.

It’s been happening to me a lot too, especially on druid and exorcist abilities. Sometimes you get stuck longer than usual too, it’s incredibly annoying in CM, especially when you need to heal someone but you are stuck in this really annoying animation lock.

Definitely not internet or pc related, this is a server or client issue of some sort.

I’ve been having this problem, but only against bosses that can “jump” like Denoptic. Doesn’t matter which character I’m playing, it always happens against Denoptic in saalus.

Happens to me most in 330 raid on the first set of caster mobs, I actually suspect it has more to do with the weird orb attack of Denoptic and the ranger attack on those mobs. But it happens in PVP all the time.

It’s happening a lot and I thought that was with all classes because I play many characters and it’s happening on all of them, you have to keep moving to use ur skills, if you stay in the same place casting skills over and over after some secs you will face this problem and in order to keep using skills you need to move. With Peltasta the boss attacking you will also lose your Agro when this happen, it’s a pain in the ass when doing Pantorex/Velcoffer.

happens to me alot on my Hackapell in PVE and with Musketeer in TBL, cannot say what causes it but char just stuck for few sec not being able to do a thing

I have several videos about it with my exorcist and piper pj, the biggest problem is with my exorcist sadhu, because the only way to correct the error is jumping, if I leave the soul I can not do it, which forces me to restart session Y-Y
