đź’˘ Still cannot use/summon companions in some maps (e.g. Evac)

Team Name: ZeroFoxGiven (this is issue is not just happening for me but for all players with companions)

Character Name: Kuma

Bug Description :
(letting us know what you were doing before, during, and after the bug happened will help us a lot)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Bring along a companion with you
  2. Go to one of the maps that’s causing this bug. In my case it was “Evacuation Residential District”
  3. Cannot see companion. System thinks I don’t have a companion. Cannot open companion window (F9).
  4. When I go to lodge, I see companion is with me.
  5. When I go to a different map (e.g. “Extension” map), companion shows up there and I can access companion window (F9).

Evac Pet/Mount Bug

please, i know that this will not make you happy, but just try to re log once you are not in the stairs, and the pet will be there with you and then you will be able to use the summon-pet.
this only happens when you are in stairs.

Oh, you saved my day. Thanks for the tip! Though IMC really still needs to address this as it’s obviously a bug.

nope.
i know this is a bug, it is like many bugs that no one knows how to happen, and this is why most games have functions to prevent those types of “location stuck bugs”, a good example is the warpstone, many games have similar mechanics to be of use when the character is stuck but in this case the one stuck was the PET so we do not had a way to call him back with a warpstone, but most sorc-necro would be happy with something like that since their summon got stuck all the time but for catas and this type of “location bug” just re log outside of stairs and will work.

i know, i also have said that it is fact a bug

just that is not something we need to be so worried about because there is many ways to fix by our self but good luck in your hunt good to know i was of help.

Haha yeah thanks again. I expect this post to be buried alongside similar ones before, but at least I now know how to deal with this issue specifically.
