If you use a skill right while you are performing another skill or action like attack, it will fail. In A LOT OF GAMES, you can use an action/skill meanwhile you are doing another one and, when the first finishes, the game remembers that you used another, and will instantly perform it. League of legends for example, you can combo and use 3 skills fast, using the skills meanwhile the previous is still being executed, and it works fantastically. It adds… dynamism. here, you have to BE SURE you are doing NO action, or the game will forget your input.
This doesnt happen with Peltast block cause it’s a HOLD skill, but for example heighlanders Cross guard, what is not a “constant hold” but needs an activation, it fails. You cant start the block meanwhile an attack and mantain it, you have to WAIT the attack/skill to finish. Its frustrating, and doesn’t add any good “skill” part. It’s enough skill paying attention to enemy’s attacks and know when to block. Of course the block will execute AFTER the current action ends, but i want to be able to trigger the block meanwhile the action is being used.
This works for… well, for what i tested, all skills fails. THere’s no stacking skill system, and it would be great
