Im not american but i would most likely be lumped in to their region. Honestly wouldn’t break my heart but i would miss a few players.
I was actually thinking of this, becouse just region locking brazilians won’t stop them from using vpn4all or other ip avoiding programs, the only solution is too have whole world gaming community divide into ip regions and we can even have 1-2global servers for those people who are used to messing with others. Use surveys or other ways to find like minded communities and use the same system like in Korea, to register for game with their national Id and phone numbers. Not only dose it stop @@@@ mostly in game but it will stop boys and hackers. Just getting cought will let game admins locate the guilty person.

See, the thing with these NA servers is that everyone always seems to want to have the right to play on them - meanwhile, NA players never really seem to want to play on anybody else’s server.

BR players don’t get it. There’s a reason people dislike you in almost every mmorpg, sure there are good br players, but the majority of you is the reason you are brought up in almost every mmorpg. NA server should be for english speaking people, or people who can speak english only.
But patent for Great Firewall belongs to China. Does that mean that Americans would have to pay to China to protect themselves from SA dwellers in a virtual world?
na at that point america would build a wall to keep chinas patents out and make china pay for it.

I’d be completely fine being region locked.
Part of why ppl are annoyed is every time we get a server, it’s “International”.
I don’t know what nationality have been ksing me, but every time I say something they never reply and then leave me alone.
It is ironic indeed. Because if the game was american region locked, then they would the only ones be able to play.
If instead they would be IP banned, then noone would be able to play, as the servers would IP block themselves.
