Am i the only one who dont care about fps?

Some people have huge FPS problems so it definitely does need to be fixed. Fortunately, the director has stated that game optimization is a priority and is being worked on. So it’s not being ignored or anything by any means, it’s being worked on. Personally, I consistantly get ~120 fps in most areas, with busy towns dipping into the 40s. It’s not perfect at all times but does pretty well for me.

That said, people who optimize code are not people who develop or adjust content, so there’s other things they should be doing simultaneously. The FPS problem requires an overhaul of the client’s code base. It’s going to take some time.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t see the usual sea of 30+ people around the AH NPC. Your screenshot doesn’t mean much when it doesn’t actually show the number of people present. How can I know that’s not channel 2? Or that it’s not taken right after a server reset? Or that your server doesn’t have a comparably lower population in the first place (I.e crowded in your server is half if what another server would consider crowded).

Yeah that’s not crowded. At all. Even the channel population indicator shows that.

I have no idea what server you’re on, but channel 1 Fedimian is almost always at 5 red circles when I play. The number of players usually present easily triples whatever you have in that screenshot.

My problem is not the fps per say, it’s the constant screen stuttering that makes my fps drops from constant 140 to 0 fps, and my computer can run any game smoothly (I had problems with Tera Online before, but it was because the game was badly optimized as well)

You post a pick very everyone is literally stationary.
And you get a shitty 25fps? You even call that a rig?
$1300 . Fck brah, that is nothing these days.

Then post your FPS when it is in fact that crowded. You can’t really argue the FPS drop is negligible until you can prove it under these conditions. As of now, your screenshot only depicts a moderate drop in FPS with a moderate number of unmoving, AFK players present.

@jeremysantillan196 I like you, you are not poor I approve. However I too have a beast machine; you have not fought a world boss as when it gets bad it gets bad as in under 10fps with a rig that costs over $1500. It’s just true and I hate to say it, they need to optimize. There is literally no real way for me to improve my pc; however they have ways of improving their game.

I don’t understand if you are trolling or for real.

200+FPS comes from a bug when you suddenly get disconnected and didnt booted you out, you can still move around or slide very fast. I even saw 400 fps from this. Anyway you can give us a video for proof if you think otherwise.
