Alright second time this happened, Fuk this Trading

So this player named Cuba (team name) was selling an item on shout.
This player didnt know anything about the trading system, how it works.

And since i didnt have a 2.3million dagger she wanted in exchange for a 650k item, i told her that i would buy a recipe on the market so i can trade her the completed item that’s worth 650k or less and i can add talt or gold bars.

After 5 minutes of her looking up whatever and thinking, she cancelled our deal and then left.

YOU DONT CHANGE YOU MIND AFTER YOU MADE A DEAL ON SHOUT AND PM

YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME. I SHOULD NOT WAIT FOR YOU.
it’s a slap in the face, its rude beyond anything u can do to a player.

so fuk IMC’s trading system and these players canceling trades.

IKR? This game has alot of flaws.

It is in fact one of the stupid trade systems I have ever seen. I guess our fellow South Korean devs are getting some advice from their northern neighbor.

We have all kinds of bureaucracy and blockade from trading whilst the gold sellers and botters are having fun with tons of dollars.

They should copy paste RO market system, which is almost free trade. The actual system is a big downside to me. I was expecting a better game.

IMC please just change ToS to P2P and get ride of that awful trade system and cash shop.

You gonna be more salty when you realize that the recipe you bought off the market can no longer be traded even if you wanted to go through with that deal. It consumes the recipes 1 trade potential when bought from the market. So congratulations on your new dagger recipe

Do you think you might be overreacting just a LITTLE bit?

Only trade in Talt right now. No talt, no trade. It’s the only currency we have. One talt is 5k silver. Ask for as many talts as you think the item is worth.

Don’t buy cards unless you know and trust the other player.

You can’t trade recipes purchased off the market place. Same goes for materials, they essentially have a potential of 1,which is lost upon purchase and locked to your character. Only weapons, armor, head accessories can be re traded after being purchased off the market but would lose 2 potential in the process.

the reason i was trying to trade a recipe from the market is so that i can make the actual gear and then trade that.

i havent actually tried it, but im sure it would work because the gear is completely different from the recipe. if the gear also binds on you…
well, thats impossible because there’s people selling crafted items on AH

imagine a stranger walking up to you and slapping your face, and then walking away. and u cant do a single thing about it.
thats actually how it felt, and that’s my reaction to it.

the person basically sh.it on my time. a sorry, then just walks away.
also, it was a good deal for me so i felt a loss.

the thing about talt is i only have 45-50 or so which is only 225k-250k. i cant make big deals. and i havent gotten a single good drop from the dungeon.

Clearly you havent done a lot of trading in MMORPGs.

The seller/buyer cancels the transaction last minute is normal,
heck it happens everytime.

I really don’t see what’s the relation between the trading system and player cancelling the trade here.

If the player cancels the transaction then its on them, not on the trading system.

your greed made you waste more time posting this post.

if i do this to other people, do you realize how many millions of silver i can make people lose?

let’s say i have a 2.5m recipe, i tell someone to make an item worth 2.5m. I cancel the deal, and they are stuck with a 2.5m item that they can’t use so they have to sell on AH. they lose 10%/30% and maybe more depending on market.

if you’re going for a 1v1 trade, how often do u see a match of someone actually trading an item of equal worth that each of them really want?
thats why buying from the AH gives more freedom of which item you trade. but it comes with risks.

and last minute canceling is fine. it’s just that you shouldn’t take a long time doing nothing, not even talking to your buyer and then just leaving.
it’s bad manners. i dont even know why you’re actually ok with this unless if you’re the one doing it.

Isn’t this a player issue? There are people like this in real life as well, I don’t see why you have to blame the game. Sure ToS has some weird restrictions here and there, but you have to live with it. Not cry on the forums and say
“I don’t like it, change it!”. Who do you think you are to begin with.

Games back then with weird restrictions, players take them as Difficulty and challenges. Nowadays it’s all about whining and finding the easy way out.

Weird restrictions? no, you’re limited to the bare minimum.
yeah challenge it why dont you?
if you actually try you will see all the limitations.
you dont see it until you actually try.

if you’re not trying to see the easy way out of things, you’re just kinda dumb.
the entire point of solving problems is to find the easy way out. derp derp.

it’s like all of those who are arguing with me think it’s actually ok to waste other people’s time. like its common sense or something. wtf?

Lol try what? Find a dickweed who cancels his agreement last minute on an mmorpg?

And ohhh wait… looking at your name I guess I know why you can’t seem to handle this kind of situation well… ok…

So lemme get this straight:

And since i didnt have a 2.3million dagger she wanted in exchange for a 650k item, i told her that i would buy a recipe on the market so i can trade her the completed item that’s worth 650k or less and i can add talt or gold bars.

You put up a counter offer. Then…

After 5 minutes of her looking up whatever and thinking, she cancelled our deal and then left.

She thinks about it and decides she doesn’t want it.

Did she actually tell you “Yes I’ll take that deal?” or did you just make an offer and she said she’d think about it and you took that as a “Deal on!”? Because further down in another post you say -

and last minute canceling is fine. it’s just that you shouldn’t take a long time doing nothing, not even talking to your buyer and then just leaving.

Which makes me think you made the offer, she said “maybe…” and thought about it and then decided it wasn’t good or got a better offer.
