If you, IMC, dont know how to fix that, just do this temporary fix, it is not that hard.
EDIT:
Make it just like it works with quest warp during the matching process now: you can use it, your character rises but does not teleport because match is going on.
And then everyone uses quest warp to escape a losing TBL battle.
The simplest solutions always bring other issues.
Questwarp to the starting area. So even crashed people can get back in.

I didn’t try but maybe reading a book unstuck you like it does with some bosses from the album card.

Hard to implement(you know, IMC, will make even more bugs here, so the solution must be as easy as possible) and can be abused. Just make it like flying on place, see edited post.
