An honest suggestion to help resolve the issue here would be to include a “Team Tradeable” option for certain items, which would allow them to only be traded through the Team Storage (which also needs some improvement, as one at a time and 200k for more seems silly to me; seriously Kafra was pretty awesome).
I agree that allowing all items to be tradeable (even just between teams) could cause issues with economy management, but the potential system (which is still active on retrieval of items from Team Storage) should be able to manage endlessly cycling good equips. If some items which the community believes should be ‘Team Tradable’ only have one potential now, which will cause them to not be retrievable from Team Storage, just make the potential on them two. This would only give us one trade, but that’s better than nothing. It would also continue to use the potential system as intended to minimize market saturation.
I also believe there needs to be a fair way to change premium (paid for with real money) items (consumable or cosmetic) between characters. I understand the reason we can’t do this currently is most likely so we have to buy the same thing twice if we want it on two separate characters. This probably applies more so to cosmetic items, but the point is still valid, the bottom line is important and IMC is still a business.
My solution for this is to allow swapping all premium items on one character onto another during character deletion. This ensures there is only one character ever in use of the items, but they are not lost to the void when a character is unwanted. For example: I buy a lot of Soul Crystal on Character A, but after many hours I get to the Class Circle I wanted to try and decide I no longer like that character and wish to start a new one. When I create Character B, I am fully aware I will never use Character A again, but all my Soul Crystal (which I paid real money for) are stuck there. After I press the Delete button on Character A, I should be asked which character to transfer my premium items to. In this case, I would select Character B. This would not harm the economy in game, nor disrupt that I need two sets of Soul Crystal if I want to use two characters. All it would do is protect the customer, inciting me to buy more premium items knowing they will never be lost to the void.
