Agny Multipliers

Because this “discussion” (remember numbers have nothing to do with opinions) comes up more often now that it is out, here an actual (good readable) list of the given multipliers for Agny.

Pyromancer

  • Fireball: +280%
  • Firewall: +260%
  • Flare: +310%
  • Fire Pillar: +290%
  • Hell Breath: +245%
  • Flame Ground: +160%

Elementalist

  • Meteor: +99.6%
  • Prominence: +186%

Plague Doctor

  • Incineration: +104.4%

Note: +104.% percent for example means an additional multiplier at stage “BeforeAttack”, which is after defense reduction, of x2.04.

i doubt the fireball one, i changed from 1,2k to 5,5k, which is more than 380%

There is nothing to doubt if it’s is the actual code used by the client.
But this could be an indicator that it is calculated before defense.

True, i think there might be something missing, actually i made a test with it as soon as i made the neck, but i can’t say it is really that reliable, i used a vubbe miner (CM 1F) as test subject, without the neck, my FB hit for 1.3k, with the neck it jumped to 8.6k.

If that is the case, then it is bad codded. But advantage for us.

Before attack probably means right before the damage is done (after all other calculations are done). At least that is how it feels since, regardless of enemy and attributes, the final multipliers were the ones you just showed

This is what logic also tells me. But I don’t trust logic for IMC code.

Ok i jusst forgot as usual agny gives me 233 fire property attack yeh the 280% is right.

Damage no agny: 1758
Damage + 233 property attack: 1.991

Damage with agny: 7568 (which corresponds to 280% of damage+233).

Update, tested it on high mdef monsters:
It is calculated after defense.

You’re missing that 233 comes BEFORE your attribute multiplier.

Pretty sure that multiplier is inside CM, TM or SM.

Yeah, “elemental modifiers” (edit) in game, like rune of ice and storm calling, they all are calculated after defense.

Wrong. “Base damage modifiers” come before defense like Skyliner on Bleeding Targets.

EDIT: Ok I had blessing, that’s why it fit. When taking out blessing it’s proved Fire Property attack is influenced by attibutes.

Damage from my pyrochrono ingame, same mob:
1599 damage base
1599 + 350 (233 * 1,5 [50% attri]) = 1949
7.404 final damage with agni (1949 * 3,8 [+280%modifier])

Therefore the code is true.

Let me fix your math.

So your damage was 1599.
1599 / 1,5 = 1066(raw damage after defense and attribute)
(1066 + 233(agny)) * 3,8 * 1,5 = 7.404,3

I did. What did I miss? I don’t see combustion addressed in the OP.

meaning it does not get multiplied…
