Soooooooo… with the gem revamp, should it be obligatory to put xxx con and high to full dex if you want to go physical for your clerics??? I want to run bokor pd, is dex a more feasible choice right now for clerics with phys. potential (if you want to) like druid, bokor, pally, inquisitor??? Thank you.
Why are you looking to build DEX? Bokor PD will usually go INT since everything is magical dmg.
DEX is still good for Inquisitors. Gems update didn’t really change that much. Bokor always been an INT class. Paladin is very flexible but if you intend to go Inqui with it it’s almost surely DEX as well. I can’t say much for Druids as I do not have one, but it’s also more of a magical dps class than physical.
Arent’ bokors’ zombies accuracy depends on dex? Or its function is just for CC?? I’ve met INT Bokor and mobs just keep dodging his zombies.
Only Bwa Kayiman is physical damage, but the damage itself is really bad and not used as a dps skill… It has an okay damage for lvl 150 and grinding in demon prison, but past lvl 240 the dmg will be minimal.
Now with rank 8 content and 300k+ hp mobs, Bwa K damage is a joke.
You use it mostly for crowd control. And you don’t need DEX to hit mobs in pvm, just get a good glove with high accuracy.
Also, I’m not sure how it’s working now, but some time ago there was a patch in kToS that made Bwa K damage depend on zombie’s stat rather than your own. So I’m not even sure if increasing your own phys atk increases Bwa K damage still.
No, zombie’s accuracy don’t depend on your DEX. So if that patch is present in iToS, DEX is useless for Bwa K (aside from helping you evade hits and not get the channeling interrupted).
So no point in investing points on Bwa Kayiman too??
Sadly no.
I mean, you can max it to level in demon prison and low level places, but once you get to rank 7 and above, those invested points will be pretty useless.
You can keep it at skill lvl 1 just for the utility and CC.
Could you please send me a link if i’m to build a c3 bokor about skill points? Thanks for all your advises!
It’s hard to suggest builds to other people. Each person has different opinions when it comes to builds.
Are you looking for a Cleric 2 > Bokor 3 > PD 2? What do you plan to pick at rank 6? Pardoner 1? Diev 1? Priest 1? They’re all valid choices imo. Is it a pure pvm build? both pvp and pvm? pure pvp? You can also choose to not pick Bokor 3 and still go PD 2…
I can suggest you a skill build, but that’s going to be a build better suited for myself. My builds are usually pvm-only as I dislike pvp.
For r6 I think i’m going to take miko and i want it to be pvm optimized build. And bruh, i’m asking you because i’m totes new to this class and i would like to learn the ropes, so i want to see your pinion about it and later on i’d like to check everything and make conclusions about it, i trust this forum to have the most updated information.
Well okay, I made this build for you:
But there’s a couple things I’d like to mention:
-
You can choose to switch Bloodletting 5 Healing Factor 6 with Bloodletting 1 Healing Factor 10. Bloodletting is good in pvm but there are only a few mobs that have very strong CC skills so you won’t really be using it most of the time. Healing Factor coupled with enough magic / physical defense makes you pretty much immortal even in rank 8 content, so it’s pretty useful (though it’s only for one person).
-
Notice I saved points from PD 1 to PD 2 and didn’t place any points into Bloodletting or Healing Factor at circle 1. I prioritize getting dps skills first over defensive skills so you can level faster. So you might want to save those points and max out Plague Vapors / Incinerate as fast as you can once you hit PD 2. Healing Factor is nice but being a cleric 2 with nice heals you can live without it.

After testing a bit with Pandemic, I don’t think it’s essential to have it past lvl 5. Skill lvl 4 with Divine Might already suffices for most of your needs.
-
I’ve never really played Miko, so I pretty much left her skills blank. I believe the really important skill to get there is Hamaya for it’s dps. Clap and Broom are optional since you don’t have many AoE skills they can benefit from (but of course you can always help party members).

Bokor 3 goes between two build choices: zombie or no zombie. In the build I gave you, the remaining points are placed on zombie skills just because there’s leftover points. If you prefer, you can choose to not get Mackangal and focus more on zombie skills. I would suggest Damballa 5 and the rest of the points into Zombify while leaving Mackangal at 0 or 1.

Cleric 2 has a hard choice on skills. Being an INT build, you really want to max out Cure to deal more dps. But that means not maxing out Fade, which is super important in rank 8 content. You can live with Fade only lvl 1, but those 4 skill points do make a difference. If you want, you can sacrifice one point in each Safety Zone and Divine Might and two points from Cure to max out Fade. I wouldn’t recommend Safety Zone lower than lv 3 or Divine Might lower than lv 4 seeing that’s already pushing those skills a lot. You can choose to take all those points from Cure and max Fade, but that might hurt your single-target dps a lot (esp against bosses weak to holy). Notice that a few mobs in rank 8 content can see through Fade, though. So it’s your call to max it or just leave lvl 1.
EDIT:
For stats I recommend around 100 CON and rest into INT.
Really appreciate your help, mate! Btw what are the pros and cons of playing zombie or no zombie? For cleric I think I’m going to max cure, as I already maxed divine might. Thank you again for your help/
Well, zombies can help by “tanking” other mobs for you. Note that I wrote that in quotes because they don’t really tank, they just take some damage for you while mobs are still attacking them. They can’t really pull aggro so it’ll be pretty hard for them to tank once you start attacking stuff.
The damage of each one of them is pretty bad but they deal damage in quantity rather than quality. If you have 18 zombies attacking a same mob, you can say that the damage is actually good, but that’s rarely what happens. Usually you’ll have zombies attacking different mobs and spreading their total dps among everything. They’ll also take a considerable amount of time moving from one target to another.
Unfortunately, in pvm mobs seem to ignore the AoE atk / defense mechanic for their attacks, this means having a horde of zombies around you doesn’t really protect you that much as the enemie’s AoE attacks will always hit every zombie including you as long as it’s in their dmg area. This also makes zomies in boss fights nearly useless since bosses usually have big AoEs which will hit every zombie in the AoE (zombies AoE defense don’t matter).
I’m not really sure how zombies peforms in rank 8 content but I believe it’ll be about the same since zombies defense and atk comes from the mob stats you zombified them from.
With Mackangal you can become invencible for 20 seconds and use Safety Zone just before the skill ends to negate all damage you were to take, so it’s basically an invencibility skill. But like I said, you can choose to use the points into Zombify instead to have more zombies.
If you pick Damballa, I would recommend at least one point into Mackangal so you can use the two skills together.
