AFKers in Dungeons

So, I really love the new dungeon system, I enjoy it but… like always, people abuse it.

I’ve done a dungeon where we were in 4 and I got 2 AFK people.

I can understand if there is an emergency and you have to go afk for some reason, happens to everyone.
But leeching. Nope.

Yeah, you can do it. You can ruin other players game and this is why I ask to IMC to take measures against them.
How? Now I can suggest: ban from dungeon: they can be unable to join dungeons for a while.

Kick to vote doesn’t work since there can be 2 people AFK or “friends” vote no or people can abuse it.
So, the simple way is: when we report a player AFK in dungeons, IMC should punish them.
Were you AFK in dungeons? Now for X days you can’t.

I had to rush my last run for not let them leech everything (exp and cubes, got 3 cubes instead of 6), but why I have to ruin my game for them?

Of course I will submit a ticket, but I hope you all can help me for:

  1. let staff read this topic
  2. more suggestions

There’s a new function to report players inside instanced dungeons incoming. It’s already on kTOS iirc and it should arrive in our server in the next weeks or in february.

Personnaly, what i see the most is people doing a part of the dungeon and then just waiting for others to do the boss.

While it works (tbh the bosses are weak anyway), it’s a really shitty attitude.

i dont know where you play but in every dungeon I’m in people start to rush to the boss at 90 something % and wait for the rest of the group to clear the leftovers so they can be #1 on bosskill

Well, from: Tree of Savior Terms of Service

You shall not continuously act in a way to disrupt other players’ gameplay.

For me, in my honest opinion, this is a disrupt others player gameplay.
But hey, is just my opinion…

… I’ve said is just my opinion? o.o’’

in 300 dungeon innit usually because the boss dies before everyone can run to the warp anyways?

i also honestly don’t see votekicks being a particularly bad idea, the only problem is that parties aren’t large so it’d be weird finding a good compromise. A more ~complicated~ idea would be to only bring up a votekick option on players who are inactive or haven’t done damage for x amount of time or past a certain % checkpoint.

Even if there were votekicks, in games I’ve played where it was an option, sabo kicking is generally rare or doesn’t work. I doubt everyone wants to complicate their dailies even more just to…essentially do something that isn’t even very clever

Everytime i see the usual afkers in dg or or when somebody is still not moving after the first room is already cleared i just leave and requeue, also when somebody just helps in clearing half of a room then afk till the end of the run or those just waiting in just to kill the boss.
