Advice on my casual pardoner build? ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

Alright, so depending on when iOBT decides to happen, I might not be very active or free to play it as much as I’d like to. So I decided to go with a really casual, “just for fun” kinda build.

Though, thing is, I’m not into making cool class builds, so I have no idea if my casual fun build will actually be effective in the higher levels or in party play. (I’m the type to solo stuff because of my time zone, but if I do run dungeons, I’d like to be a semi-support cleric lol)

Stats will probably be focused on mainly INT, with SPR being a close follow up. The rest will be CON I guess.

Any suggestions on how to improve this build? Uh, besides changing any of the chosen classes for something else - I think Diev is really cool (where’s rank 8 and 9 so I can go Diev C3 ;A;), and this is mainly a pardoner build, so ehh owo;;;

You want to solo with no damage class? This is a support build all the way. I would suggest going priest2>dievdirby2>pardoner>Plague Docter. Plague Docter because with pardoner you got discerning evil + incinerate combo. If you really want to solo I suggest looking into builds for sadha or bokor. Or if you really want priest a nice chaplain build can also solo.

With dievdirby and pardoner your not going to be soloing all that well in the first place. Or at all even until Pardoner3, and even then your only using decatose and carve owl for damage.

just wanna point out, you’d need rank 8 for that

oh your right! whoopsie. ill edit that for something else.

A: You don’t have enough scaling skills to build for int or spr build, so don’t do that.

B: Class selection is kind of poor, but that’s not that relevant for a pure pardoner profit maker. What is relevant is whether or not you get the most out of spell shop/simony. Otherwise i don’t see a point to pardoner3.

Since that list of simony/spell shop skills often changes, i recommend to wait at the last moment prior to obt and even after obt to select those classes.

C: @Shyboo beat me to it. It’s a horrible solo class. Plague doctor helps it to a degree though.

pretty sure heal and cure and aspersion are damage skills, even if they don’t scale too well. I guess maybe they won’t be too effective in late-game scenarios, but as I mentioned, I might not be playing TOS too much - to the point that I’ll even reach late-game areas lol

I think it’s doable to technically solo with even just that (and buffs ofc ww).

Then what exactly am I supposed to put my stats into when I’m playing a cleric class :I

Agreed. I was kind of racking my head finding a complete list of possible simony and spell shop skills, but it seems most of the lists around are somewhat outdated lol

As is indulgentia.
Aspersion and indulgentia only hit enemies once though. They’ll be crap dmg the second you get them due to a enemy’s health pool and their low skill dmg.

Cure has actually got a very good int scaling and amount of hits.
But it’s a tiny tile that needs 10+ seconds to deal proper damage. So most of the time it won’t hit all enemies and will miss a ton of potential hits.

Which means you simply do more dmg with str/dex stats and auto attacking.

Depends entirely on the build.
If you got several int scaling skills with good amount of hits and dmg, then go int.
Spr is mostly for chaplains builds atm. They’re tons better with it then other classes.
Con for specific tanky builds. Pardoner ain’t one of em.
Str/Dex is your main option for pardoner3 tbh. Look at dievdirby/bokor/priest/paladin for extra physical dmg boosts.
