Hello well I’ve been thinking on make a shinobi but i would like an advice.

O something like that, i would like an advice about whats better highlander, corsair, doppel, what ranks, what would be better, why? and of course do all the changes to the build you need, i just dont wanna rapier cause already had a fencer and also no spear just because. thanks.

Are those the only choices or do you want the metanobi?
- Do you want a 2h sword build?
If you want a 2h Sword build, I would stick with Doppel 3 and pick Shinobi only at rank 9. Doppel 3 is way too strong to pass on for a 2h sword user. For this build, you could do:
Swordman3 - Highlander2 - Doppel 3 - Shinobi1
OR
Swordman1 - Highlander3 - Barbarian1 - Doppel3 - Shinobi1
Both builds are good and will deal incredible damage with 2h sword.
- Or do you want a 1h sword + dagger/pistol build?
Corsair deals straightout less damage than doppels. The advantage on being a pirate, however, is the fact you can steal silvers from monsters and/or hook enemies in PvP. For the most stupid it sounds, Corsair doesn’t combo well with Shinobis because clones can’t copy any of Corsair’s skills. Picking Corsair 2/3 in a Shinobi build means lowering your dps in exchange to be able to farm silver slightly better.
If you want corsair to farm silvers, I would suggest also getting Peltasta 1/2 to be able to pull mobs quickly into your flag. You can use Swash Buckling with sword + dagger but not sword + pistol.
If you want Corsair 3 to use a pistol, probably Highlander 3 is your best option. I’m not very fond of pistol corsairs in swordman tree though because having a pistol in your offhand severely limits your class options.
Swordman1 - Highlander3 - Corsair3 - Shinobi works, but it’s far from the best dps shinobi build around. It’s fun for farming silvers and all, but don’t expect too much.
There are DEX Corsair3 Builds, those usually pick Swordman3 with Concentration to “combo” with Corsair’s high amount of hits. Those builds can also be interesting with Shinobi since your basic atk will be very fast, making clones also attack fast. Even if clones can’t get Blessing/Sacra to deal more damage with basic attacks, they still deal considerable damage given you have high DEX and attack speed.
- Are you comfortable with using a shield?
You said you didn’t want to use spears or rapiers, but you didn’t mention anything about shields. A very popular sword-shield Shinobi is:
Swordman1 - Peltasta3 - Rodelero3 - Murmillo - Shinobi (rank 9)
Of course, some would argue this is a Murmillo and not Shinobi build. But either way, it’s a very strong build for both AoE dps and boss bursting. Clones can copy Shooting Star, Shield Bash, Rim Blow and Umbo Blow, four skills. Which is a big difference when compared to the other 2h or 1h sword + dagger builds where clones would copy at most Moulinet and/or Double Slash.
- Are you looking for a PvP build?
Shinobis can be interesting for PvP as they can go invisible and attack without breaking invisibility. Their invisibility, however, only lasts 8 seconds. Clones are quite bad in PvP, though, as they’re sluggish and tend to physically miss a lot (not because of accuracy, but they just shoot skills to wrong directions).

Hmmm… I may not be the best person to give you opinions on Corsair builds, I’ve only played one corsair build in my life.
Corsairs tend to play in a similar way to Fencers, they focus on getting reasonable atk speed (150+ DEX) and spams their skills rotation as fast as they can, given most of the skills rely on atk speed.
A suitable option for rank 9 would be to fit in Matador C2 into Corsair C3, and pick the usual Swordman3 Barb 1 before that. This build would have to use Rapier + Pistol, though. By using a weapon in your off-hand, you lose 50% extra damage for Matador’s best damage skill.
You can always choose Highlander3 instead of Swordman3 Barb1 before picking Corsair, both options are good. I tend to prefer Highlander3 but Swordman3 Barb1 is a more popular choice.
Another option, that doesn’t use Rapiers, would be a Swordman3 Highlander2 Corsair3 Shinobi1. I tend to enjoy getting Skyliner on builds with DEX since it has 5 overheats and only 15 seconds cooldown (good for spamming). You get Moulinet, Crown and Double Slash which can be copied by clones. Getting highlander 2 also means you can Crosscut and bleed your targets, making them take +30% damage while bleeding in case you’re using 3x Prison Cutter cards.
As for stats, you have a lot of flexibility:

You can make full STR build, without any DEX. Though this is recommended mostly for Highlander3.

You can make STR build, with ~150 DEX. This makes your skills cast quickly, but still gives you nice damage that doesn’t rely on multi-hits. Also recommended for Highlander3.

Or you can make a DEX build, with minimal STR so you have enough accuracy to hit mobs (~100 STR). This works nicely for Swordman3 with Concentration lv 15 and many multi-hits skills.
Of course, those are PvM options. If you’re focused for PvP, you should also focus on CON.
i ended up reseting my sw3pelt1cor3doppel to sw1high3barb1cor2shino, a 10%-thief PARTY-farmer shinobi. i use auto aggro debuff from dvasia peak quest, it is half as strong as swashbuckling lv 5, credit @RyogoKusama . Why do you want corsair3 so much in your shinobi build?
Oh no i dont corsair 3 in my shinobi build, i actually think will be a doppel shinobi, but im just curious about corsair3 case looks good i mean i like the class but i dont find so much combo with it
yeah, the reason i insert corsair in my build is for pillaging. Sadly once you go corsair3 you dont want to waste pistol shot, resulting you in using 1h+pistol gameplay most of the time.
