Advancement window bugged

EDIT:
Not the WHOLE advacemnt is bugged, just the Advancement window!!!

Date and Time :
09.05.2016 20:15 gmt+1 (edt: 02:15)

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Keyboard

Where it happened (which map, which quest, which npc, etc) :
Miners village while doing “healer Lady’s Worry” quest

Bug Description :
I can not advance Job! I was questing on the map, while trying to reach first Job advance (job level 15).
I got to Joblevel 15 WHILE doing a “movie Sceene” quest.
After finishing that quest, I clicked on “Advancement” in the top right corner, and choose Archer Circle 2.
There was no “Advacement” Button on that screen to accept my Decision.

BUT: I could get the quest from archer master in Kleipeda.

EDIT:
SORRY I AM BLIND!!! It is there!!!
BUT 2: The advancement quest is NOT in my quest logg. And I am unable to fufill it.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Playing and questing
  2. ??
    maybe: have job up to max job lvl 15 while inside a movie-sceene-quest
  3. Get your Advancment quest manually from the right NPC!
  4. Move on with this chara, happy leveling

STILL:
Veryy confusing for new players!!!
How should they know to go to the right NPC and get the quest manually?!
The big RED BUTTON to accept your Advancement Choice is missing!!!

uhh I am not IMC but I can see the archer circle 2 button on the very left beside quarrel shooter and the quest is right there on the very bottom where it says archer advancement??? If you click the little check box on the left side of the quest log it will be viewed on your screen on the right

I see nothing wrong. Your job advancement quest is disabled from showing up quest tracker (check box is unchecked) but you did get it. That means that there is no bug in advancement system (you were able to proceed with quest even not knowing you had it is a proof in itself).

Maybe it has something to do with your addons (betterquest?) or some other.

P.S. your way of uploading screenshots is… hilarious and clunky imo. Who the hell opens screenshot in image viewer app, takes screenshot of that and then uploads it?

(I really havent seen it, I was so panicked. So that Chara is safe at least)

But it will confuse NEW players. Normally there is a BIG RED Button on the lower right side of that Advacement Window.
But that was missing/ is missing.

At least I could get it manually from the Archer master

As I said, that advancement window is bugged. I got it manually. (panicked and did not see it)
It is confusing that the button was not there

It is just Lua addons for exp viever

and push does that. (or i am too dumb to use it)

you are welcome. Well the quest should not appear if you haven’t chosen the class yet so idk how to explain that

I think the Advacemnt Window is bugged itself.

I am able to continue, but it IS confusing xD

I Edited my original Post to Bugged Window. Since the advacement itself is not bugged. Just the window for it @.@

It is not bugged (anymore). You did get quest. Button doesnt appear if you have quest already, it is normal.

there is your problem.

It is possible that you had more than 5 active quests at a time you got advancement quest and it got automatically deselected.

I told her she could just press 9 on the numblock to upload a screenie into the clipboard but weeeell… getting her used to puush was hard enough already.

I’m happy that she’s somehow getting it done for now, so I’m ok with “that” xD
