Add 'Created Date' to Forum View, Reply Limit

Hello IMC!

We seem to have a bit of an unfortunate problem on these boards, in that topics from CBT and earlier continually get bumped and often contain old and inaccurate information. I believe this may be, in part, due to the lack of the ability to see when a particular topic was first created from the main view. It would be nice if next to ‘Activity’ we could see the first post date.

Another thing that may assist is limiting the max number of replies to a single topic, to prevent unreadable mega-topics from forming and persisting for months and months.

Anything to make this forum more readable! :slight_smile:

The alternative is people creating “blah blah post continuation”
So we’ll have 3-5 threads in the place of 1.

+1 to a visible first posted date though.

I agree to the Creation Date. It would be nice to see this information.
Adding a Reply Limit I don’t think is necessary.

FYI: if you want to sort the topics by Creation Date, you can add ‘?order=created’ to the end of the url

i.e. https://forum.treeofsavior.com/latest?order=created

There is a nice feature that separates replies like this in case a topic goes without a reply for weeks:

[reply #x]

y days after

[reply #x+1]

This feature could be tweaked to close the topic after a certain number of days.
