Add a daily log-in bonus!

This game would be even more awesome if there was a way to incorporate some kind of daily bonus for consecutive log-ins. The more days you log in, the better the reward. It could reset weekly or monthly… But it would be a nice feature. (Aura Kingdom does this)

Also, add a daily quest(s) that reset every 24 hours on server time. There could be different daily quest that would rotate out like in GW2. Just something to give more incentives and a bit of variety.

For Gods sake, this was already discussed before and i doubt this is something useful at all, not even on GW2 the stuff that come is that much useful, it feels more like a way to force the players to log in dayly to get some bread crumbles, and whats the point on that if its for daily logins? The person who dont feel like playing will only login for 3 mins to get the daily and log out again.

I don’t like this idea. It doesn’t encourage anything good, and makes you feel bad if you decide to only play on weekends and don’t want to pay attention to the game during your work week. Or if you forget to log in. Daily quests are awful. They don’t encourage a good community. I’d say more but others have already said it and threads of threads have been made discussing dailies.

I second Zhou. While I find that login bonuses are nice, they definitely detract from wanting to take a break from the game. Now, if there were specific events like… “Halloween Week Special!” Where you would log in once a day for one week only to claim an award, I could see that working.

But like he said:

Tera had a terrible bonus especially on events which made people make multiple accounts full of the lowest level possible characters just to hoard stuff.

And that’s why we, as players, need to stay on top of our game at letting IMC know what we think is OK and what we think is not.

I do not like the idea of daily login rewards because they just encourage people to login for a minute and then leave. It doesn’t feel good to get a reward for doing nothing either, it just feels bad when one day you can’t login for some reason.

Even a “Halloween Week Special!”, like @Ritios suggested, I am against. Those type of “login every day”, or “do these dailies every day”, as a holiday event is a horrible way to implement an event and is not fun. Something more exciting and fitting for the game would be having a hidden NPC which starts an “Epic Halloween Pumpkin Adventure!” quest that actually has some thought put into it. A new part of the quest could be released each day of the week to keep players excited, as long as it is still possible for someone who couldn’t login one day to also complete the quests from previous days.

I would hope that if it’s an event the NPC isn’t hidden though :anguished:

Dailies are bad and you should feel bad.

Hiding stuff is useless. People will just post on their forums, tell their guilds/friends about it ASAP.

Congratulations, by having “hidden stuff” you are helping build a community outside of the game. If everyone can find everything on their own, there are less incentives to interact with other people.
