Active blocking with a controller?

I got the attribute that lets me manually block with C. Awesome! The only problem is that I play with a DS4 controller. Am I missing something or is there really no way to block while using a controller natively? What’s the solution, macro? A workaround in DS4Windows or other 3rd party app?

Up until this point, I’ve been fairly happy with controller support even without being able to nicely navigate menus with it. (I play at my desk, so it’s not a problem to reach for my mouse.) The controller support does seem less than half baked, however. Maybe the “last” fantasy MMO I played spoiled me with its amazing controller support.

Got it. The “Subweapon” button (triangle).

I see what you did there… :sunglasses:

I’m just starting and have not progressed enough to understand how attributes work. by the sound of things, is it not possible to drag the said attribute to the controller menu? because what I have experienced so far using the controller, if I can’t drag anything on it then I’d have to resort to the m+kb, after all the game only has “partial controller support” :stuck_out_tongue:

Heh. That was the very first thing I tried. Attributes can’t be assigned since they’re passive. The attribute just unlocks the capability to use the block button. But as I said above, pressing triangle does the trick.

thanks for the tip!
not sure if cleric has the same passive attribute, triangle is Y I think for xbox controllers like mine? finally it’ll have a use! lol
