If RMT become a legal service, ToS sooner or later will become a Pay 2 Win game. First, some players will able to afford buying silvers and silvers will be so easy to get till a level, why would they go back farm for silvers when silvers are so easy to get. Rare item sellers will realise that my customers have so much silver and think why not i raise my price to peak? this is a gold mine!!! Then, new players come in and find out that farming silvers are so not worth it that they can’t buy anything in the market. Rare items will be either way too expensive or all rare items are only sold in Real Money. And RNG system can be sometimes so bad at them that they will feel there are no other options but to just quit the game.

My main point of all this is that ToS is a game that is mean to be enjoy by everyone. If you like the game and wish to support it, buy tp. Don’t buy silvers and rare items from RMT because the game need to make profits to support itself too.

PS. I think that IMC is going in the right way. TP buying only gives a small bonus but not till a level of unfair to free-to-play players

Just set dynamic TP-to-silver ratio you can controll manually if needed.

It’s already a Pay 2 Win game, except what you paid is not toward IMC.

Where do you think the gears of most top tier player came from? I can assure you that at least half of them did RMT at some point in the game, whether its selling or buying.

I’m more surprised the coughtoxic whineycough community itself hadn’t proceed and attack goldseller/RMT sites and such, even KanColle fans went and killed ChinkColle servers just for their shipgirl waifus.

We need a female only character class as an iconic ToS waifu that can wear any costume without the job class restriction.
We get waifu and IMC gets easy cash grab, it’s a win win situation.

I am not sure this system works or not or any company managed to make income from it.

But in theory, this system is very risky. If you set it too high, IMC and outside silver sellers will compete and most likely IMC will lose. If you set it too low, IMC can’t even earn anything and may make losses. And shareholders do not like loss making project and ultimately request ToS to shut down. Moreover, if you change the ratio frequently or too much, there will be bound to be players riot about it just like exchange rate crisis problem.
