Legit player rarely give a ■■■■ if it doesn’t affect them besides IMC will be too busy verifying the legit report and their hands are full with something else.

Everyone has their own values for stuff. For example in your case, ToS is just a game or an entertainment. For me, ToS is my hobby and I seek for research, exploration and improvement. And even for some people, it is a fantasy world to escape harsh reality (well that is sad…)

Yes you are right. I am exaggerating this suggestion of whistleblowing RMT. Since IMC did not release any notice of how community can help contributing fight RMT but in-game report bot which is not very effective. I can see new bots spamming everyday in town raiding my fps. I also see almost every facebook ToS communities are filled with RMT sellers and users.
If you really read the ToS forum trend, it is taking a dark turn. So much things happening such as class discrimination(swordsman swash buckling slave n crap dps), meta-builds (to be able to join majority,u must be meta-builds), alchemist price war, discord attention seeker and etc. You can see that these are scaring players away by checking ToS steam charts.
Yes, they still need to consider a lot of things and meeting but if there are enough people making a voice of it, IMC will give us Q&A a clear answer.
Why restrict something when you can control it? I will never understand that way of thinking. Haven’t it been proved several times that making service legal will not only provide bonus money for the project, but also make things like MOTNK obsolete. It’s not only about RMT, look at the drug trade legalisation in some countries/states of some countries. Look at statistics - numbers tend to tell the truth.

A flaw about this whistleblower thing is that these people are literally gaining hundreds of millions, not tens, but hundreds, it would take more than that for these people to rat out and snitch on each other
Another thing, you can’t stop RMT, RMT isn’t exactly the problem here, everybody resorts to RMT one way or another, even you, once youre tired of this game and is quitting, you’d be selling you character for an amount enough to compensate for everything you invested in your character, that is still RMT, once you reach end game and is literally slotted all the way down to every slot, you’d rather sell items you get from WB’s to your friends for real money, that is still RMT.
Again, RMT isnt the problem, the real problem comes down to the way items and silver is acquired by these RMTers, it all comes down to BOTS, and how they are never handled and is free to do what ever they want.
