About the "stuck on connecting to TBL" problem

Hello, Silver here~

I’ve been contacting IMC about this problem affecting several people who frecuently plays TBL since this November 22th patch. The steps to reproduce it are as follow:

  1. Queue on TBL, either 5v5 or 2v2.
  2. Find a match
  3. At a 40-60% chance your queue window will tell you, you found a game, but won’t move you to the arena at all. Leaving you outside of it while your team plays at a disadvantage.

Next TBL for NA is at 7pm, that’s in about 13h. So i’m kindly asking for different time zone servers to help me get the next info:

  • Does removing ALL the addons causes any difference?
  • Does the map where you queue causes any difference? (City or Field)
  • Is every server having this issue? (I’m from NA) Just a post here mentioning if you’ve had this issue and your server could help.

I will be heavily thankful to people who contribute to this.

(Also, ignore any troll that may appear. Lets keep the thread focused on the questions)

Thank you for your answer. I’ve also found it totally random on my tests yesterday, and if possible provide your Server on the comment.

I will keep this thread alive until 7pm NA TBL, where i can get screenshots from an addon empty game to further prove this.

Edit: This ping issue happened a lot last week, but TBL QUEUE was working fine, still laggy inside tho. Is this only happening on Klai/Orsha shared servers? Or every instance server have this problem?

(Also, as an additional topic. They received all my info gathered about Owls and Pavise not working on TBL, and we are still talking about this issue. Hopefully it’s not gonna be 6 weeks without owls on TBL =P)

Telsiai player here. The same problem also happened to us here. A player from our server reported on forum yesterday.
Speaking of Owls issue in TBL, as a Diev dotor who often joins pvp arena everyday, I’m really confused. Is it a ninja nerf or a bug (hasn’t been fixed in weeks LOL) ?

We are still needing someone who could confirm the bug on a client without addons on it. I will do this test on the 7pm NA TBL.

I already played tbl and it’s always 4 v 4 this already a bug.

its happen everytime when i got a match theres 1 or 2 of my teammate or enemy teammate missing lol…
if i get stuck to enter match i just let it be
and watch my own match and see if i win or not without me xD
if win free point, if not lose point
its rng pvp when u can lose a teammate at start xD

haha, 1x5… i had 2 matches like this, and many more with 2-3 players on my team against 5 players …

Thank you for the additional screenshots guys. I’ve been getting help to test a theory on what may be causing this, but still need to wait for the 7pm TBL =3=.

Close the game > Steam > ToS > right click > properties > local files > verify cache and wait. Will say that you have like 30 or 40 corrupted files, let it update and problem solved.

It’s a shame tho.

Um? It’s most likely server sided, and MAYBE related to the lag spikes we’ve had recently. We are preparing some network viewers to check this in a few hours.

IMC doesn’t know what other bad decisions they can make to make players quit the game so now they are ■■■■■■■ up the servers to see if we quit already.

Hope to get some Orsha/Klaipedia users info to back up this in a few hours =3=~
