About the maps + Steam Friends

Aye, I don’t want to “spam” the Forum, so let’s kill two birds with one stone.

Question 1: I’m curious - how the maps will be in this game? I saw some gameplays, and I didn’t get it: it will be an open world, instanced or “like ragnarok” (areas, portals, etc.)

Question 2: When the game releases, I will be able to invite, make party with friends, see who is online from my Steam friendlist inside the game? I saw this feature in other games, like Nosgoth, CS:GO, Dota 2, and it will be very handful, since all my friends will be playing. Looks so futile, but for me is kinda interesting and important.

Anyway, thanks for inviting me for the beta o/ I always join all the betas I can (I can say that I participated in 90% of the CBTs of NA games), and will be a pleasure (and kinda nostalgic) to play this game tomorrow.

2 - i hope so, most of the steam game have it, so i think it will be implemented soon.

Looks like that just exclusive Steam games have this feature, so I’m still wondering if Tree of Savior will be available on Steam :stuck_out_tongue: and I hope so, cuz it will prevent bots, hacks, and many other things.

From what I know, its mostly open world but certain grand quests or events have the OPTION of being instanced to prevent disruptions/

  2. We’ll have to wait and see, I doubt this will be available. You have a friends list in-game however, that works very well.

ToS is on Steam, if your in beta, its done through steam.

  1. the map is open world/“ragnarok like” , you have tons of connected areas.

when your playing ToS, it only shows you in-game status to other non-beta testers instead of playing ToS status, not sure about beta testers :x havent tried
