About quests, not being able to see them, and the level they're obtained

So, I’ve been playing awhile. And it wasn’t untill now I realized I was missing a lot of quests.

When I first go through an area, I spend a ton of time finding all the things on the map, exploring it 100%, talking to all the npcs, finding every little thing. After that first time? I don’t pay as much attention to it.

Now, the main questline you can quests for even if you’re 10 levels lower then the recommended level. Not a problem. You can still do them. I, and quite a few others, did these quests the moment they came available for a free half level or so.

And just like I do, they explored the new areas as they went threw em for the that quest. Now comes the problem.

Optional quests appear at a much higher level then the main line quests it seems. Say I went through the gate path at lvl…45 I think. I talked to every npc while doing my main quest. Thankfully I had to backtrack threw this area for another main quest. For some reason I thought I should talk to this follower again. And here I found quests. Quests I am CERTAIN weren’t there the first time I passed threw.

I think if you’re going to not allow us to see optional quests on the map, then you need make sure they’re obtainable at a low enough level that we’ll be able to get them passing through during the main quest, or can wander into them before it even.

Just my two cents.

I am going to actually disagree with you here. Having hidden quests that don’t become available until a certain level adds more reason to return to lower level areas you have already been to.

Taking this to the extreme, it might be interesting to have some hidden level 500 quests and boss fights in some of the low level areas.

I’d be fine with that, but since these quests only give 1 or 2 exp cards, that give maybe 5% each, it’s not worth spending time going back and finding em. You’ll get much more exp faster grinding.

I’d be fine if they gave more, or gave some kinda of special items, recipes, costumes, accessories, you know, things that are fun or not required.

But when they only give a a single or two exp cards, they’re just going to be ignored instead of players hunting out and finding em.
