About potential lose in trade

I think the most part of players thinking this potential lose is annoying and not necessary to the game.
The 1:1 trade and team storage penalty is really necessary? I think not.

Please, Tree of Savio dev team, think about it. This isn’t a gold selle way to win or something like that.

Potential loss is necessary

Form team storage no, not really.

Storage team penalty is like trading with antoher char as well, the only thing is that you control this char

how so? it simply decreases value of weapons/armor that are being sold

i removes items from the economy after changing hands to often. Thus requiring more to be farmed / upgraded to be sold. It perpetuates the economy, when items circle indefinitely it leads to ■■■■■■ up pricing and over saturation. For the purpose of normal trade it is a good system.

that is actually a good point.

Im usually at the top of the list for people giving IMC ■■■■, but not all their decisions have been bad.

I think the idea of somehow controling the inflation of items is good, but in the end it feels more frustrating than anything. There could be a range of time before the equipment starts losing potential with trading. Right now there is no incentive to farming as a group, for example. If your friend drops that equip you really wanted you’ll lose 1 potential even if he transfer it to you right away. The team storage potential lose, in other hand, is just dumb, specially for a game with so many levels and so many different builds. It’s not even like you could use the same set of equipments in different characters, it’s not like your level 150 Cleric equips are gonna be useful for your newly made level 10 Archer. It’s one more thing that discourages making new characters and experimenting different builds. Not to mention that, since it’s impossible to team storage silver, you’ll lose 2 potential simply by buying some equip from market with your richer character for your other character.

I really dislike the potential system, but if it got tweaked I could at least tolerate it. But the way it is right now I feel like I’m just playing a single player game, the only interaction I had with other players so far is buying some material for recipes once in a while and getting annoyed by some of the players attitudes.

Not to mention that, for a system so directly connected to the game economy, it’s even more frustrating since the economics part is a mess with all the trading, storaging and market restrictions, and with the impossibility of trading silver. The only people who don’t seem to be affected in any negative way by all these systems are the silver sellers and bots that continue doing their thing (even now that they have to pay to play, I don’t even wanna think what it’s gonna be like once it’s f2p)

Even so, anything which has been used by several times already (by players or characters) shouldn’t have the same value as a fresh and virgin one. iykwim

i tried this, you cant buy items from your own account. lmao

I meant to say that, if you have a character with little money and want to buy an expensive item from market, you’d have to buy it using a richer character (losing 1 potential buying it from market), and then lose 1 more potential transfering it through team storage.

The game either should be designed towards market and trading or it shouldn’t, this middle ground full of restrictions we have right now is awful. Some of the classes are specifically made for selling services/items and getting money, so it makes no sense to have so many restrictions to use the money you make with these characters with your characters that are in no such classes.

i think they made an announcement regarding the team storage, tuning it down or something. not sure if they remove the stupid potential drop from it

we are supposed to get a team storage change, but they have not said when or what that change will be
