About monster card lost

So, if monster cards are dropping when you die, does that mean Sorcerers will lose their summoning cards? Does anyone have any idea? Maybe some info from ktos thread or similar. It would be terrible losing grimoire cards!

Only those in inventory not equipped ones.

probably yep, unless they do it like black desert online, where even your socketted gems can drop

Cards in use by Sorcerers, I think you’ll notice, stay in the inventory. I fully expect them to ■■■■ this up.

Shuggoth will be off limits, too, until the next patch fixes it (a month later, if we’re lucky)

I wonder if they’ll be dropped on the ground where you can still pick them up.

Well, personally I hope that Sorcs drop their summoning cards. You could wipe out the AFK sorcs at dina bee once and for all then.

First up, this “penalty” only applies to 4 (four) star maps or higher. Dina Bee Farm is 2 (two) stars only IIRC.

Next, people should be smart enough to keep the cards/gems/blessed gems/shards they are not using either in their personal storage, team storage or a low level alt (costlier alternative). The game has a built in way to circumvent this “penalty”, much like storing Silver when grinding at 3 (three) star maps or higher.

This is at best a nuisance. My hunch is that your items will drop to the floor (similar to your gems when you die) but your Silver is permanently lost (like how it already is).

Yeah, more nuisance that doesnt make sense.

Like any sort of drops on death regardless what.
Or aggro mobs making you unable to switch channel/change char/logout

or… we got IMC’ed

Should add this to the long anthology of restrictions aimed at repelling players from the game.

As far as people crying over the death penalties. I am glad they’re there. Then again I come from games like XI and EQ where death meant something. People now lol… Wouldn’t have made it back then. I remember dying and losing 5 hours of EXP. Good times.

Maybe people are afraid of the inevitable “EXP loss upon death”.

They should’ve tried Rising Force (RF). At Lv60, every 1% takes roughly 6 hours of uninterrupted grind (haha, you can’t there’s always PvP all the time) versus mobs that can really 1 or 2 shot you . If you die by a monster’s last hit, you get a random 0~10% EXP loss. Fun for the entire family. There’s an EXP restoration pill you can buy… from the CASH SHOP! Yay!

I understand that it seems unnecessary to some, excessive to others, pointless to most and a nuisance to a few; but it’s IMC y’all! I thought by now you guys already knew who you were dealing with? :kissing_heart:

I hope at least that they make new maps inviable for Sorc to the point that actually playing the damn game nets more silver than afk.

Let them have Dina if at least there’s an alternative for honest players.

Yeah I don’t mind them at Dina Bee. Gives me a place to kill them while I’m bored. In general it’s not that I’m against AFK farming, it’s how generally ugly it makes the appeal of the game itself.

Isnt that already the case?

You AFK because you can. The extra silver is just a bonus earned for doing nothing. (well, you still need to pay your bill for electricity usage, lol)
