Personally I’m fine with how the game is right now as I don’t really care much about all the premium bonuses (cept maybe the market comission decrease, that thing is waaay to damn high) though the majority of the players will probably be f2p and will most likely drop the game due to being paywalled out of core mmo features like trading and the marketplace. The goal of a free-to-play game is to be accessible to a large amount of players, and limiting trading and marketplace will surely drop the player base a significant amount. I know most are the restrictions are to prevent botters/gold sellers, but surely there are other ways. I mean, look at DFO, does well without exhorbent auction house fees and everyone can trade freely, cept no currency trading but I’m ok with that, and they have next to no gold bots/spammers. They also probably make most their money off their avatars. On that note, adding more costumes could help saturate the cash shop, as I know that me, along with many other players, care more about how our characters look than temporary stat bonuses.
