I was playing Wizard => Pryo => Linker => Linker => Sorc => Alchemist
But I found that Sorcerer is quite not useful for c1, if I go for c2, I will lose Alchemist ability. So I decide to remove sorcerer c1. Now, the question is, will I get benefits from Linker c3? Or should I go for Pryo c2 with Linker c3?
You want to keep Linker C2 but change Sorcerer and Alchemist ?
i want to remove Sorcerer. It is not very useful for c1 and very consuming SP.
I’m not a fan of Linker C3 (2 more target to Join Penalty, longer cc with Hangman’s knot and share stats) but some may consider this as an option.
Pyromancer C2 can be an option since it gives more hits&damage to Fire ball and longer duration/damage to Flame ground and you get Fire Pillar.
Thaumaturge C1 isn’t a bad choice too …
Just like as what I thought of, Pryo C2. Thau C1 is not that great unless C2.
If you play with a staff, Thaum C1 is good enough to provide some matk (200+ with maxed attribute) and double exp with swell body.
But i think that most of the time, people gonna take Pyro C2.
Sorcerer’s Grimoire Summon skill is useful when only when it reaches lv10 which means 2 circles. In my case, i should not pick Sorcerer in my CBT2. In the next test I will remove Sorcerer c1 to Pryo c2.
Well you can choose alchemist at rank 7 so you can take c2 sorc
i just read the kCBT3 content update DEC 8. there are classes changes for the skills. so one of them is sorcerer.
The Sorcerer “Attack Ground”, “Hold”, “Morph”, “Riding”, change to C2.
Why would you not wanting to have a sorcerer C1 though? Even it’s less powerful than C2, you will really need Sorcerer’s skill for awakening service as summons can help you to AFK throughout the process.
SP consumption is never a problem if you are going for Alchemist. Just make the stronger SP potion and you are fine.
Too bad this is valid for iCBT2. KrCBT3 has made changes to the classes at Dec 8 update. That will also happen next to iCBT3 or iOBT.
I know that there are a few skill that’s being moved to C2, but it doesn’t change the fact that you could still AFK.

You have other summons to help with your AFK.
Those summons are really good in dealing with low level awakening dungeon.
When I AFK, how do I hit any button to summon? Don’t really get your meaning…
Well, you don’t go full AFK, but you can check back every minute to resummon your stuff, while alt-tabbing away doing other work.
At least that’s how I heard other alchemist is doing it.

Basically it’s a sleep fest for the lower level equipment.
I don’t see Alchemist fitting in any Wizard build that would either be good DPS or support. Considering you need to take multiple circles of it, it basically turns your char into money-making npc
I’ve tried Linker C3 and it’s good support, but. Only in party! You can hardly do anything without a party. With limited dungeon runs (5x lv50-90, then 2x 100+) and few party-grinding spots (demon prison 2) I decided it’s not worth it. Unless they nerf C1 Linker, one circle is totally enough. At the same time Linker C1 is an amazing choice, almost too good to skip.
Pyro C1 is too weak to be considered DPS later. Sorcerer, Chrono, Necro, Thaumaturge at C1 all suck (C2,C3 too imo, not worth the investment). Elementalist is so much better than any other rank4-6 class, but you must make it to C3. Having to be Elementalist C3 greatly limits the number of possible builds
You may disagree but after trying basically all of the classes in CBT2, I see 2 viable Wizard builds: C3 Wiz -> C3 Ele, Wiz->anything->linker->C3 Ele
