How is supposed to be a Lv40 Weapon a CORE item for Wizard/Cleric and even some Swordman Classes?..
This is a another IMC HARD fail on balancing… now guys u can say “u must prob be an archer”, yes iam, and it’s stupid that 60% of people are using 1 weapon and the only drawback is Leveling gems (Yeah sure…)

IMC should have made gems and things like enchant scroll stats scale with character level. maybe in a future update they will… it’s not hard to add such a feature.
Actually I dont think it really matters a lot. It just gives you a better lvling experience.

Thats besides the point. The point is this weapon and gem combo makes 80% of the weapons in game useless.
That is assuming you could afford it, if you already have a main that can afford it and send it to your alt then that is fine. You act like this is the only game that does this. Hell WoW has heirlooms that make all weapon up to Legion useless, and then a weapon in legion that you use the whole legion expansion. making gems scale with your level is a dumb design because it devalues the gems when all you need is 1 of them gems and you set for life
Well basically this weapon is used utill get the 315 weapon with transcedence, but both is a bit overpowerd. If I wanted play a exaggerated game I prefer Disgaea ‘-’ (sorry for the english)
This is not only about the Five Hammer, but items in general :
I wonder whether the person in charge of the item stats design actually is thinking about whether items are balanced and worth using. There are so many lowlevel items worth using at highlevel and so many highlevel items bein totally worthless when compared to some lowlevel items.
Not to mention headgear enchants, which make low-/midlevel a complete joke and bore because you 1-shot everything.
Yes, this 100%. This new free dungeon that drops 170 items that can be appraised(add more sockets and such) is suppose to help but they just ended up adding another way of making end game items useless. Maybe that’s their goal, who knows?
uhh after trancendance gem values become joke so dont worry end game items wont become useless its the value on the item that matters.

You see, five hammer was always in the game. Those buffed red gems that made it so usefull.
