So today I found out that words “gay”, “lesbian”, “homosexual” and even just “sex” are banned in chat filter. I wonder how is this ok because the first 3 words are not insultes and as gay person I’m kinda offended.
Not to mention, the filter is stupid in general and you can’t even say “I’m going to change the class” or something.
In my opinion those words are banned for same reason we have an excessive number of super cute monsters… age rating; IMC wants to market this game to the masses, including young kids of lot of different nations and cultures.
They don’t really need a chat filter for that. After all “Online Interactions” cannot be rated by the ESRB.
Im not saying the game is teen rated because of words banned in chat, what im trying to say is chat censored because there is gonna be kids playing; not sure how to express it better, English is not my language.
The filter atm isnt effective but considering what goes on in shout… its needed.
