About Chaplain's capella and daino

So im building a full support cleric with c3 priest, c1 chaplain and no krivis. Question is, do i need to take krivis for daino or i dont need one since chaplain has capella which puts all priest buff in one buff slot (according to what i read in this forum).
Thanks guys.

Uh… unless it’s been updated… no, chaplain cappela buff doesnt take only 1 slot.

I got it from this post XD

EDIT: He edited his post and took out the capella part…

Anyways, thanks for the vids and confirmation

aww, I missed to edit that post xD

Sorry, the info is wrong, you “need” Daino for putting up all buffs.
I ran into the same trap as several other people by blindly listening to other people on the forums without double-checking and spread the wrong info @@. I edited the wrong info out now <<

Still, Capella is nice to have for several reasons as it provides all buffs for up to 40/45 seconds[ lvl 6/7 with Divine Might& Houki Broom].This is good for people who died during battle to rebuff fast without having to rely on the supporter after getting ressed.

The full support Cleric should have no real problems if he takes Krivis C1 for Daino and Aukuras, two of the best support skills existing.
Alternatively you could lvl a subchara who’s Pardoner to scroll yourself some Daino/Aukuras, because you only really need Daino when you’re in a party with braindead people who fill your buff bar with useless skills like Quicken, Swift Step or Reflect Shield…

Ohh no harm done  gf wasnt home so i didnt send the build yet  but thanks for editing and correcting the info

Quick question though, build is cleric c1 - priest c1 till c3 - chaplain c1 - cleric c1…should i take krivis c1 then miko after that or go for PD then miko and have an alt pardoner? Was having a tough time deciding lol till i saw ur post lastnight and though yay no need to go krivis haha

Thanks again you guys, cheers!

well, you have 8 ranks in total, 1 is forced Cleric C1.
You could go Cl1>Pr3>Ch1>Kr1>Cl2>Miko for full support or you could leave out Krivis and make an alt Cl2>Kr2>Par2[>Kr3>Par3>Cl3 optional for future {i.e. Rank 9} leisure lvling of toons e.g. with Cure/Daino/Aukuras lvl 15 scrolls].

If you’re building for full supp I wouldn’t take chaplain. I love chaplain, but it starts pushing you away from support. Priest 3 (due to stoneskin and blessing) makes a strong case for running a SPR based build, and since you’re getting your damage out of asper with chaplain, SPR becomes optimum. If you’re taking SPR your healing will be more lackluster.

That being said, I wouldn’t take krivis for daino.

Also, Capella is broken and who knows if they’ll fix it anytime soon. It’ currently usable once per map for one buff series, the capella fails to refresh the buffs when you re-enter the circle, and wont even refresh when you recast it unless you zone in and out.

I totally love my Chaplain though, which is now Inquisitor. It’s extremely diversified, can handle pretty much any scenario, and still churns out pretty decent DPS. Godsmash doesn’t hit for 40k, but a full rotation and AA results in over a mil dmg in a full rotation, while being able to heal, ress, revive, stoneskin etc.

I wouldn’t recommend chappy if your goal is FULL support though.

This. Chap is actually support offense and with the ability to provide permanent stone skin. This can be actually offside by chrono.

If you are into FS, i would suggest Diev(3) or Miko+ X + X ( can be pd 1 + X or others. PD 1 is actually great for status removal/ healing factor)
(after cleric 2 priest 3) as continuation waiting to see if there are addiitonal FS class on R9

you can skip krivis… there’s daino scroll it isn’t expensive and you will only need it in major party play like ET. There isn’t much more total supportive classes pass r6. Most of them turn to support offensive on R7/R8.

Wow. Just… Wow. I can’t advice anyone with full support clerics because I dropped mine but I have to say this. If you want to play support, at least try learning what buffs the players being supported want to have. For example, I dislike seeing any random priest in missions because they usually fill your buff slots with pointless buffs. Blessing doesn’t add much damage, sacrament is useless for any class that doesn’t auto attack and I always have a 2h aspersion from shops so their aspersion would never be used ._.

Seems like it’s fixed now. Went back online last night and remembered that it was bugged when I took a break, so I tested it after doing my Siaulai runs and it worked fine, both inside dungeons and out in the fields.

That’s nice of them! I’ve been having an alright time with Magnus, but good to know it works again. Didn’t see it anywhere in patch notes of course.

The perks of hidden classes as you know…

I still wonder why people dislike chaplain so much…

Change to that class and you’re able to solo (albeit not as effective as DPS) even with SPR.

Krivis is nice but with rank 1 your advantage are pretty much:
-aukuras which is better than nothing I suppose? (although different story if there’s squire buff)
-Daino lv 5/6 with DM which you can have more 2 minutes than the scroll version and save money for that
-Zaibas which is okay but definitely not go if you’re not DPS
-Zalciai which is okay for SPR build

I am actually more concerned when more ranks to come, buffs will be more present and are pretty much will overwrite each other even daino lv 5 or 6 is present…pushing people who likes buff to get higher rank of krivis

Im just so lost atm. I read everyones suggestions lol but i still have no idea what to replace krivis and chaplain in the current build.
Heres the current build

Stat allocation is con and spr.

having krivis is nice but not mandatory. Depending your playstyle…like unicorn said here.

2nd solution so you won’t take another buff slot

Not taking a Rank7 or Rank8 class is going to be debilitating end game. I highly recommend weaving in Plague Doctor 2, Inquis, or Tao.

If Chaplain is a must in your class decisions, then you should probably take Inquis for R8.

Cleric 2 is arguably essential for almost all cleric paths, because without it you lose the safety zone attribute, which scales better than the skill itself.

Miko doesn’t synergize as well with any of this as it would with other classes, and any of these outcomes won’t be what most would call “full support”. Miko clap (if it gets fixed) would be able to extend Magnus Excorcismus (possibly?). I also assume that INT is the goal in this build, which will make stoneskin useless.

Currently, Diev reaps the most reward from Miko, as clap will extend statues. This means you would build Cleric > Cleric > Diev > Diev > Diev > Miko > ? > ?

Alternatively, you could so all sorts of other things. The “Full Support” miko I’m looking at building is Cleric > Cleric > Priest > Priest > Cleric > Miko > Oracle > Tao. I don’t recommend this, it’s going to be terrible to level, but should have absurd healing and mitigation capabilities (oracle only being used for counterspell).

There’s a lot of possibilities, but back with what I mentioned earlier, I wouldn’t put Chaplain in a “full support” build. The only thing supporty that you can get out of it is Capella, which only has use in its ability to troll people by taking off their 2 hour buffs, or having permanent stoneskin.
