Will I get banned if I changed it? Because I edit it in the user.xml

As far as i known, you won’t get ban from doing that.
And how to do that: Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release
Find user.xml
Look up for the word “Language” same line with Sound
Edit from “English” to “Japanese”

User.xml is a configuration file that stores various settings from “options”. If they were to begin banning for “modifying” it then they will haveto ban 100% of playerbase. Also IMC said that they are not against changes to client that are not intrusive or exploitative. If exp viewer is “ok” then this little thing is safe.
close game client. Open User.xml with any text editor. In the sound settings find Language="" and change it to Language=“Japanese”

When you CTRL+F the word “Language” there are two results. One has “English” and one has blank, put the word Japanese on the one with the blank one.
