Question is, is Arde Dagger+Rod a good idea? Does the fire damage from the dagger stack onto skills and basic attacks?
Arde dagger adds a bonus +153 fire damage to every hit that you deal, including the bonus property attacks from sacrament and cafrisun set for example. If you’re not stacking additional attacks, then the question is really ‘Is the difference in damage between my rod and staff smaller than 153 per hit?’, and that’s generally a yes for most of the game, so arde dagger is usually a good choice.
