Abandoning Party Quests

The party quests given by the npc in the Mercenary Post of Fedimian City.

I have a quest (marked with a ’ P ’ as the icon) designed for a party, but no party to complete it with. I’ve tried bringing a party with me (and even clicking the ‘share with party’ box in the f5 quest page), but it doesn’t teleport them with me into the quest area, saying that they are missing the required quest.

I’ve trying to do the quest on my own, though it has proven literally impossible… with the composition of enemies and them all being scaled to my level.

When I try to abandon the quest, it ends up in the abandoned tab with the ability to ‘restart’. However, even after abandoning, the npc won’t allow me to start a different party quest. The npc keeps saying ‘you already have a quest, don’t bite more than you can chew’.

I want to know, is there some way that I can permanently abandon the party quest that I already have?

I would really like to be able to complete the achievement that gives me the blue hair. :frowning: Why is the requirement so difficult?!

I really want to abandon the current party quest that I have and select a new one from the Mercenary Post’s NPC.

Same case here
But I’ve already finished a few with my partner just that both of you have to do the talking to the Mercenary Post’s NPC to get the same quest

Do give it a try by inviting a friend of yours and making them talk to the same NPC to see whether they get the same PT quest.

I found a way around it.
There happen to be a party near the npc, so I asked for help.

The trick was to disband the party that I already had and join a different party, while the quest was in the abandoned tab.

That refreshed my quest list for me.
