A question on ranks

And believe me I tried looking around but I cant seem to find the proper search for this particular question. Instead it just tells me of the 6 or 7 ranks you get up to for your class.

I been messing with a stat calculator on bonus’s for getting stats up, and their was also a calculation of stat increases via ranks. I learned of some sorta Ranks system where you go beyond the “Class Ranks” going up like rank 50, Rank 80, etc as you play the game, accomplishing stuff and the like. Is that simply achievement ranks, or can you go up in ranks indefinitely to gain access to special items and stuff including the stat increases you can get via those ranks? Basically trying to figure out if their is progression after you hit level cap to keep making your character stronger and stronger, like ESOs champ points, EQs AA points, FFXIs Merit points, similar to that.

Must be talking about your adventure journal. Class ranks don’t go that high. xD

So their is no growth after cap? I see, tch guess ill stick with ESO. Bummer.

They’re still adding stuff and ranks more than the 6 we have now. Just no 80. .-. Level is presumed to be up to 600, so you have more than enough growth.

Have you even play Ragnarok Online?
Do you know/understand there are character level (limited to 200 levels in last Beta) and class/rank level (15 levels per rank, and limited to 6 ranks in last Beta, which is 90 levels).

Please go back to ESO, not gonna stop you (and I doubt you seriously spend time on searching, demanding immediate answer in every minute with no patient >.>)

No need to be rude my young adolescent friend. Yes I have played RO, when it was even in its beta actually which I cant say the same for most people on this forum. Yet RO at least with default exp rates once all the new classes and all the ascension was in place, very few people ever reached the absolute max lv after ascension and maxing out the third tier of classes and such. Which I liked about it.

Further more young lad. I created the topic, and stated specifically on the confusion due to the search system for these forums being lacking and already committing quite a few google searches. Also I am to believe that the Korean version of the game has already reached release, thus information can be garnered from that version of the game. So simply because this game is in beta and of course, is limited, is no excuse. So I ask you refrain from vulgar disrespectful acts any further, or I will make it a necessity to report you for childish behavior.

Thank-you.

Indeed, as you played RO before, it can take a year to reach max level, so it is pre-mature to think that far. The status of the game is to implement classes. The additional stats maybe looked at in the future, or even rebirth instead. However, it seems to be unlikely they will add more stats (even without cast time including in DEX to allow instance cast for everyone), because attack-speed is linked to DEX (or AGI, whatever you want to call), which makes it difficult to add stats point (everyone become max attack speed?).

Weird, I didnt see any tool tip on DEX increasing attack/spell speed, must have gotten lost in the localization, hm, that makes it more important a stat than it looks, alot of builds I seen pretty much ignores DEX in the event you have a skill or potion to increase your Dex whenever ya need it to reach needed accuracy…hmm…

Thing is im playing a Versatile Paladin build that can be tanky, do dmg, heal and support and do all of it very well, but it focuses on 1 str 1 con 2 spr ratio.

Maybe ill throw in dex now and then.

I don’t think Dex does that at all. Otherwise my resurrection at level 1 would cast faster and I have 70 Dex. 101 with Monstrance. Dex does what it says and I think he’s just mentioning RO stats.

Maybe you are right regarding attack speed. This allows them to have unlimited character level.
DEX can be important, but magic attacks ignore dodge/hit rate. Having Oracle predicting the attack can be useful against casting tile based attacks as well (if you are good at moving away).

Perhaps. Way my paladin seems to be build is the use of single targeting special attacks, melee ones. But it makes use of that Monstro skill to make up for lack of dex. Hmm…

Actually, what about Crit rate? If you boosted the dex stat to say 100, its just a crit rate modifier that goes against the crit resistance of the target right? Not an actual percentage rate?

Not a %, so yeah it’s against crit defense.

So pretty much yea, Devs could make a really high level cap, or no lv cap if they wanted to, just has to make it a horrible grind after what is considered “Soft Cap” at any point and time.

They just need to make PvP part of the leveling.
