A question about Swordsman C3 skills

Hi guys,
cause I’m using a Sw3 for the first time in my build i need to know which skills i need to max for PVE.
Using a full str +50dex build with a Dragoon2

With some advice I maxed Double Slash, Pain Barrier and Gung-Ho.
So for the next 10 points i use them for a 10 Concetrate or a 10 Restrain? (never used restrain until now) :disappointed_relieved:

It depends on your stats wether you want to go with Concentrate or not.

A lvl 15 Conc. gets calculated as (1.5 x STR + 3 x DEX + 26.0)
where lvl 10 Conc. gets calcualted as (STR + 2 x DEX + 18.5)

Youd need more dex to feel its sworth spending 10 SP on Conc.

id advice you to get atleast bash lvl 3 for utility though, namely positioning mobs when playing in parties.

If u are Full Str u definitly go Gung-Ho over Concentrate. (Lvling either of this skill not to max lvl isn´t worth it, and getting both isnt recommanded since Gung-Ho scales good with STR and worse with DEX and Concentarte vice versa.

Restrain is a nice skill:
It gives all ur attacks a 60% chance to stun ur target. For example if using Double Slash each hit has a 60% Stun chance. So the more and faster u can smack out hits the more reliable ur enemy is stunned.
The con of this skill is that u loose out on 10%+100 of ur Max HP.
So if u have 30000 Max HP and u use this skill, while the buff duration u only have 26900 Max HP (-3100).

Getting Bash 3 is nice fore the Knockback. (I only skilled Pain Barrier to 12 for it)

In addition, you can get Bash to level 3 then get the attribute then reset again to level 1 so you can allocate the spared 2 points to more important skills

You can’t reset and still get the benefit of the attribute anymore. That was a bug that was fixed with the update.

It’s still there. That’s why I just leave extra unspent points enough for those important attributes in case they will really “fix” them.

From checking neet, any attribute that affect tooltips (like Doppel c3 stuffs) seem to actually have been ‘fixed’

For example, here’s the tooltip code for Redel hit counts

hitCount = 5
if [Redel: Multi Cuts] not null and [Skill Level] >=6 and [Redel: Multi Cuts ActiveState] == 1
hitCount = hitCount × 2
end
return hitCount

It checks that you did learn Multi Cuts, it’s activated, AND that your Redel is at least level 6.
So unless IMC derped and somehow the actual skill doesn’t have this same check, then those skills should now require having the proper level to keep the attribute active.

Hmm that is good know and something that definitely needs testing in-game. I can confirm though that Bash’s KD attribute works even at Bash lv.1.

waiting to see if it still works at level 1 later on … :c

I still i think it IS an bug and IS not intended.

Thats why i still use 3 Skillpoints on it. That way i can savely say, i dont use an exploit!

So it was fixed? kekek, I might as well do the same, but damn I will have lesser pain barrier. :joy:

i would go gung15 pain15 double5 con10

i got bash lv1 for knockdown but never use it in non doppel

i don’t even put it in hotkey kek
