A place to Report Players from hacking/botting

Hi guys,

I don’t see a forum category for players to report players. It would be nice to have one.

But since I’m on the subejct…

Just now I saw a Level 52 Swordsman killing monsters in Gele Plateau. What made it so significant that I wanted to report this was that he was just a Class 1 Swordsman doing some major AoE normal sword swings and killing mobs. Then he teleported around (it looked like he glitched to a different area in the same spot). I think I have it on video… but I did take a screenshot of his Character Info. His name makes him pretty suspicious too.

In this image, he was attacking everything around in my screen from where he’s currently standing. It was pretty hard to kill the mobs that I got to first.

there NEEDS to be a forum section to report botters or players. Come on guys, thats like a must have for the forums. There are tons and tons of bots but no way to report them.

In On the Klaipedia server in Novaha Assembly Hall are a ton of bots (on Ch. 3 right now). There is at least 2 full parties here running around bot killing.

Here is some of them could get in shot. If you GMs want the rest come here and get them, way too many and screenshotting them then posting here is a pain. This game NEEDS a click to report function but being korean i dont expect it, they dont usually care.

It could be an “in game” feature. You know? I believe it would be a good workaround for the BOT/SILVER SELLER problem.

Bots should be dealt with by the players and not only by the developers or the company. They don’t have the manpower or resources to. I don’t know why gaming companies are still running decades behind in terms of dealing with botters.

Honestly, I think we the players should be able to report other players(bots). If enough reports are stacked onto a player(bot), it should place them in a “blacklisted” channel. In here, they can still play but only interact with other blacklisted players. Think of this as a soft ban. They are still around, but out of our sights at least and not kill stealing everything.

When placed in a blacklisted channel, it gives enough time for GM’s to start looking at these “players” and verify if they are legit or not. Botters will be banned, douchebags may get their blacklist repealed and whatnot.

  • If you are just a douchebag and end up in a blacklisted channel, you deserve to be in there.

  • If you are somehow mistakenly placed in a blacklisted channel because of trolls, just send a ticket to support and repeal your blacklist in under 24 hours. Player history will be logged when reporting another player and whoever unfairly reported you without a good reason or evidence will be banned themselves. This makes this system have consequences if others try to abuse it.

Only allow players with Premium Tokens to report other players. We don’t want every freebie troll to be reporting everybody they hate.

I think this is really the best solution in getting these bots out of our way. It doesn’t solve RMT, but it’s a start somewhere.
