A PD build that can support. Help? Opinions?

I want a PD build, but one that can decently support the party too.

Would this one be viable?

Cleric has 1 debuff.
Bokor has 2 debuffs (potentially 3).
Priest has…1 debuff.
Druid has 1 debuff.

A grand total of 5 debuffs. Potentially 6.

##This means:

  • Guaranteed 10 seconds extra to incinaration. This means incineration with a 15 second duration.

  • Potentially +12 seconds extra to incinaration. This means incineration with a 17 second duration.

##Bokor is a must for 3 reasons:

  • Hexing has only 9 second cooldown.

  • PD’s pandemic can expand hexing to 13 enemies. 15 with cleric2 divine might.

  • Effigy has 25% chance of add blind with attributes (this is why bokor offers potentially 3 debuffs at circle1 and potentially +2 seconds to incineration)

###But the question is: Should i get bokor2 to replace priest2?

Bokor2 skill tree doesn’t seem to offer much compared to bokor1:

Other than hexing+effigy level 10 (which is good):

  • Bwa is useless (its physical, not magical)
  • Samedieve only offers 50% of the buff for the player and only for you.

In contrast, priest2:

  • Mass heal is good to keep party alive.
  • Lv 10 aspersion means 36% extra def for the party.
  • Revive ensure the party will stay alive.

The only reason i got priest1 and priest2 is so i can be a healer and resurrect in end-game (lv 200++) and aspersion for % def buff.

###Kirvis is popular, but i refuse to get kirvis/kirvis2 for my build for the following reasons:

  • Aukuras isn’t a very good buff, even at circle3.

  • For Aukuras to recover high HP the players in the party would need to have high CON.

  • Daino lv 10 would be overkill, lv 5 is fine and game is full of Kirvis anyway. Every time i went into a dungeon as a kirvis there was another kirvis and/or daino wasn’t really needed. Plus you can buy daino scrolls.

  • Zaibas pseudo-aoe of circle2 is not good, and it is a single-hit skill at circle1.

  • Druid’s carnivory is a pretty great skill, true AOE (unlike zaibas), stronger than Zaibas and Chortasmata counts as a debuff.

The only good thing it has is Zalciai with magic amplification attribute.

But waste 1 valuable rank just for 1 skill is worth it? From my test with max attribute of magic amplification, the magic damage increase wasn’t super high.

Aukuras and Zalciai are debuffs for PD’s incineration that would add 4 seconds but:

  • Aukuras has a 120 seconds cooldown, this is 2 minutes until you can re-use it.

  • Aukuras is a static skill (like diev statues) with a small range, so you use it and then move, so it will only count for incineration 1-2 times.

So…in reality Kirvis1 would offer just 1 debuff for PD, unless you can camp for 2 minutes in 1 small place.

zalciai counts as i debuff if im not mistaken

Yes, i know. That’s why i mentioned it at the bottom.

As for my opinion, you would be making the build more focused on Curses/PD or 60~70% offensive cleric build.

If so, minimizing pure support class selection would benefit you the most. The minimum would be the following for support classes in terms of priority.

Enough Heal tiles(Cleric) > Defensive Buffs(Priest).

As such, to maximize your intended role… wouldn’t it be more beneficial to get Cleric circle 3, rely on scrolls, and use the extra circle rank to increase the effectiveness of PD?

such as, Cleric2 > Bokor2 > Druid > Cleric3 > Plague Doctor, or something similar.

As for revive/resurrection, you shouldn’t even need it with a good party.

The problem now becomes for mobs “Reversi” skill that can affect your healtiles, which I currently don’t have any idea how that happens at high levels.

Thats it for my opinion.

you said krivis had only 1 debuff

You’re aiming for a more sub DPS cleric than support if you’re prioritizing debuffs for incineration. Might as well go effigy build with bokor 2 or 3.

Besides any cleric that has INT as a main stat and circle 2 is an effective healer (hence an effective support) and automatically a viable party member. IMO, priest isn’t that effective end game if he isn’t circle 3, and neither is aspersion.

I have a decent amount of experience with healing in dungeons.

Cleric3 has 5 more heal tiles, but that’s about it.

###The following problems happen if focus in heal for support:

  • Even with heal-damage disabled, the party can’t always reach the heal tiles. Many times party members have died because the boss used an AOE where the heal tile was placed, killing the low-hp player than wanted to go there.

  • Many times the party is too busy attacking/tanking to reach the tiles or (because of a graphical error) the heal tiles are covered by environment/floor…so they don’t see it.

  • The party is sometimes stunned by enemy archers and die before reaching the tiles.

  • Even for a INT build, a player with high CON will use 75% of the tiles to heal himself. Only himself, the rest of the party is screwed.

So i though skills like mass heal that recover a % by default PLUS HP+SPR+[number] was pretty good.

My biggest concern is:

#I do not know if i should drop bokor2.

My build was originally something similar to this:

But like i said…bokor2 doesn’t seem to add much, other than the ability to raise hexing+effigy to level 10.

And pandemic can increase the amount of enemies affected by hexing anyway.

Yes, im focusing more in DPS than support (which is why im not taking chalplain), but i want to be able to support too and keep the party alive too apart of only DPS.

Death seems to be a common occurrence on lv 100++ dungeons in general.

I would double-check if chortasmata counts as debuff for incineration. I read so much about Bokor>Druid/PD builds the last days, that combinatin got mentioned once or twice, but I forgot if it got confirmed or denied as debuff.

Chortasmata does not count as a debuff. Druid holds nothing for Plague Doctor, as you can’t take advantage of Telepath yourself.
