I pictured and cooked the idea in my mind for some time now. I kinda grabbed some of WoE’s concept from ragnarok, a bit from Battlegrounds @ wow and some TERA ideas.
How about this: A GvG, 10x10, but royale, and for prizes.
Any guild could enter, but you are obligated to pick 10 players to represent your guild. It would happen TWICE A WEEK. There will be a map (giant) and your group will spawn together, to avoid any initial mess. The main purpose is: Be the last of the guilds to stay alive (or first to destroy some kind of objective or conquer it, but it’ll have to take some time).
Prizes would be two chests :
One containing normal mats, used for crafting (so it would help the guild and guildmates) like Talts x 30, Mithril ores x 3, Silver bar x 3, Dilgele x 50.
Second: Containing same mats but some rare recipes with low chances (like 0.5% of getting catacombs pike recipe, but for various recipes).
Once each >>MONTH<< : A Special Chest Spawns (the event will be much more highlighted and would warn the players about it) that has a chance to drop a good item (around 5%) like lolopanther stuff. And around 95% chance to drop good equipments (220+) or a huge set of talts (200).
Pros:
-
Would engage guilds on actually having some PvP oriented core players, so they would be valuable for resources.
-
Make more players engage in guilds and create more diversity and friendships (which leads to more people being friends and creating groups)
-
More build diversity (not just OP meta endgame elememememes)
-
Would actually drag some PvE players to get interested in PvP
-
Would help PvP Players to feel useful in helping PvE players with their contents.
- Would actually encourage more people to JOIN THE GAME / COMEBACK, since it’s gonna be a lot more going on in the game.
What do you think of my idea? If you don’t like, just don’t flame. I think of this idea as to gather guilds to mix PvP/PvE and it would be helpful to both.
