So, after a loong long research about many classes builds (especially Archer and Swordsman), and reading about what’s best and what’s not I just decided to play with a class by the costume that it wears. Yeah, the costume. Judge me. But, let’s get straight to the point:

My main focus is to do PvP without being useless in PvE, but since I read that it’s impractical to do PvE with Swordsman without Peltasta class, I can’t follow the Swordsman and Highlander paths effectively. Now the question, is the build path [Swordsman 1 > Peltasta 1 > Swordsman 2 > Swordsman 3 > Corsair 2 > Fencer] possible or viable? What are the pros and the cons? Decided to take Swordsman 3, because of Restrain 10 (PvP reason).

Edit: I did a lot of research before creating this topic, and didn’t found none build like that, that’s why I decided to create a discussion like this.

You can’t Swordsman 3 without 2. You can however PvP alright, Guardian will increase your evasion. My build is S>Pelt>Barbx2>Corsairx2>Fencer. This is actually my second time around with this char too, rerolled due to taking SW2 instead of Pelt.

I’ll shoot you a PM with my build. It’s not finished yet, but you can compare it to other builds and see what works for you personally.

Oh, I just included the Swordsman 2 by saying that I chose Swordsman 3, but I think that’s better to put that explict.

But about the your build, I fount it very interesting. And you can still put out some serious damage with this, probably. Nevertheless, you can still be effective in PvP with this?

Yep you could still be effective in PvP, however there are probably more PvP specific builds that may work better. I know PvM wise I’ve had no issues. Your main problem is going to be magic, physical attack wise you should duck and dodge plenty. Also if you wish to be more PvP specific, perhaps more CON would be to your advantage. My build is a little of this or that, not really mastering anything.

I seen some interesting builds with Fencers going Rodelero. The public simulator builds have a plethora.

From experience, you cant have a all around build (Unless its cleric). Either pick pvp or pve. When picking pvp you automatic accept that you will solo grid a lot because of swordsman c3.

With that been said it a lot of theories going on, Some builds is proven to be better than others but it doenst mean you can’t go and make your own, On paper your build looks decent it might work.

I see. I’m starting to get it now that it’s really separate ways, when choosing between PvP or PvE builds.

The only problem to know if this build could work is have the determination to get to the 280. Oh boy…
