Gameplay Bug Report Connection / Game Crash

Date and Time : 2016/04/07, ~1700 UTC+8 to present

Game Control Mode (Keyboard/Joypad/Mouse) : Mouse

Bug Description :
When attempting to connect to a server, the game displays a message saying a new patch is available. Clicking OK closes the game, and no patch is downloaded. Restarting the game and trying again results in the same thing. Verifying game cache files in Steam causes 14 files to be retrieved, but the problem keeps happening.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Start the game.
  2. Select a server.
  3. Click Enter.
  4. “Exit” dialogue box with “A new patch is available” message appears.

Are you people on an user account with administrative rights? This generally happens when its a normal user account, by this account i mean windows account. The game says it updated but in fact it didn’t since it can’t write the new updates because it is being denied.

I found the solution,
Just go to Steam->steamapps->common->TreeOfSavior->release
open release.revision.txt with your texteditor and change the number to 11386

after today patch i got this error and i did uninstall the game and download it again and unchecked the DLC and nothing happen and i did verify integrity file on steam and still have the error
