Uh, no, I wasn’t assuming I was blocked. That makes no sense. Read their first post in this thread and tell me that’s not trolling.
It doesn’t make any sense to cry harassment and then ask to take it to PM. That’s why I said the block feature exists for a reason. I would have been blocked outright by anyone that wasn’t full of BS. Instead what we get is… well. It’s all up there.

I have ALWAYS played melee dps in every MMO I’ve played and I’ve been playing them for over a decade. I, like many, were really excited for ToS. I spent money on the more expensive founder’s pack and nearly $50 more in TP at this point. What kills me though, is that I can’t play my favorite class.
I’m not expecting them to add a thief/assassin tree at this point, though I think it was a major flaw to not do so from the getgo, but at this point, at least, there needs to be SOME viable melee dps class. This is honestly the first time I’ve played an MMO that has no melee dps classes that can even remotely keep up in endgame content and saying that we should just all get pelt so we can be taunt bots and have fun with our extremely subpar (as you rightly explained 200-300% lower) dps is not an option.
I started as a swordsmen. I was going to go pelt1->hop3->dopl->drag. I changed it to pelt1->hop2->cors2->shinobi being really excited about a ninja class that had some burst potential and I hoped with cors2 somewhat steady dps potential. Needless to say, I was greatly disappointed.
That really came into focus when I got my QS archer to level 75 and could equip arde with my grand cross. At level 75, my archer was outdpsing my level 132 swordsmen (both had the best possible gears for their levels) by a HUGE margin. Both specced and statted for dps (heavy str focus).
Hopefully IMC will start to realize just how vastly underpowered swordsmen are and realize that players today want to have the ability to play some form of melee dps character.

900 hours played in this amount of time means you are playing 12 hours a day. If you’re not just blatantly lying (which is pretty safe to assume), and you also claim to work, you are basically spending every minute of your free time on this game.This is obviously an absolutely amazing and incredibly addicting game to you. AWS don’t host servers in WA or Malaysia AFAIK so that’d never happen but that’s somewhat besides the point.
You get worse pings to Malaysia than SG. If you get bad pings to SG from AU then it’s your ISP’s fault for providing bad routing. I get great pings to SG from QLD while some of my mates here get really bad pings and use VPNs because of the ISP they’re with.
I thought about that, but he said he heard about it then, and started supporting it then, but not started playing it then.
To be fair, a lot of what this guy has said is silly. He tells them to go over to ToS subreddit and read it, linking them to the subreddit. He clearly hasn’t read the ToS subreddit himself, since ToS literally posts on there.

I’m quite surprised about his queue times for 130 and 145 dungeon. While my experiences with them haven’t really been quick, they haven’t been THAT long. Also, once a party is found, the next run(s) queue significantly faster since some of those people queue again. Maybe he plays at low population times or was much higher than the dungeon level, but I’m still surprised and a bit confused.
As for 160 dungeon, I don’t think any amount of server queue merging would make the queue time anywhere near fast, simply because most people don’t find the dungeon worth running.
Yeah, I had no problem getting into those dungeons either like 2 months ago, but I can imagine it’s more difficult now as most people are 200+.

I went through 130 and 145 again on my alts recently, and it didn’t seem that bad either. A lot of people are making alts, and some more casual players show up too.
This is one of the most well reasoned and relevant feedback threads in a good while, hope it actually gets noticed.
I’m not all that familiar with the situation of ToS. But as far as I’ve seen it the last days, I am wondering why they don’t do a test server? Of course I’ve seen that they see the ktos servers as test server. But wouldn’t it be more practical to do an extra server for testing?
I’ll try to sum up my thoughts on this a bit now.
In this server you could only let the people in who are really eager to support and help in every way possible, or just the players who had a specific time already spent on the game to be allowed to access this server.
They could do a server on which the channels are the specific regions. And every region has as known their own things in these channels, for example silver drops or class skills etc. But because of the fact this would be a test server, you should allow these specific few players to change their own character level for themselves or something like that, because if you would want to test something which is only possible if you are level 200+ it wouldn’t be all that great to farm until then. So, the players in this test server would gain nothing (except of bugs getting fixed faster because you can simualte certain situations faster. And it being applied to the other servers a LOT faster.).
There are a lot of people who wants to help and won’t lose hope, you can make them help you even faster having a test server like this.
(If you would let everyone access this test server)
You could even encourage people helping with the game by this. (Even if a lot would do it for free) You could give a little silver amount of 5k silver or a changing amount of silver(to their actual accounts(for example if they play on the channel for eu they would get the silver on a character they wished it for)) for every single bug found in the game.
And as said, because of the fact that you gain nothing in this test server and is only meant for testing and simulations, bugs and issues would be found more often and could also be fixed faster.

Firstly I don’t believe we should get weekly class balances, I feel IMC is in the right testing on a mostly unpopulated server before coming over here, so far we have been spared several ungodly class destroying nerfs cross the spectrum of characters as well as stuff like the boss cube thing that is still in refinement on KToS. I would not want that over here in its original form… sorry.
Secondly I believe the market restrictions (aside from a few instances) are generally a good thing. People complaining about trade restrictions are often too small minded to understand the impact of an unrestricted market in a game like this.
Performance Issues are being worked on, sorry if your pc sucks but it will get better, stop posting about it to fluff your input.
TLDR: I do not feel the same as the original poster of this thread, I have more time played than him. Take this as a note IMC that just because a person gets a few likes on the forum does not mean that they speak for the community. Most of the players who would say the same as me are too busy playing the game to come on the forums and counter this post, I wouldn’t have even seen it if I hadn’t seen it come across my reddit feed.
To the OP: Please don’t speak for everyone or make comments like “you have a long way to go in understanding what the western and international audience want from the game” because you obviously you do not know either.
Just because you hate something about a game doesn’t mean everyone does… constructed rage is still rage.
Basically KToS is a test server, the OP just doesn’t understand that. The game wasn’t as popular in korea so they are using that server to test and balance before bringing the changes here. The OP is just crying because they get the 30% swordsman STR buff before him, without realizing that they played swordsman for 5-7 months before we even got the game without that same change.
I really wont take sides in this matter. I already know that ktos is basicaly a test server. I was just trying to point out that if players could simulate situation easier it could be better finding bugs or issues. And for the class skills, I’m not saying that something should be buffed or nerfed. Simulating situations in my opinion would just be the best for improving even the all time experience with the game. I’m not someone who would take sides, I don’t even understand why some guys are fighting each other. I mean, we all want to help the devs in some way, or am I misunderstsnding some players stands?
