A lone swordsman question

First of all, greetings!!

I’ve had a question for a few days and didn’t find a answer with anyone who I talked to, so I came to ask it here and see if I get an answer.

The question is: Is provoke working as it should be?

Let me explain it in detail. A few days ago, while I was grinding with a friend - a mage - I learned provoke just so that he wouldn’t easily die - we all know how hard it can be to lvl a circle 3 mage with a circle 3 swordsman at your side - and everything went smoothly.

Then, I lost that friend of mine to RL… curse you parties, beer and sexy women who does not even blink to me.

Anyway, since I went back to my own little world, I noticed that, even though I turned Provoke off, monsters continued to gather around me. It would be fun if I had som pokeball’s, but saddly I don’t, and even those cute and pink hanaming come for me as if I was some kind of molester…

So, seriously, is it working as it should, or should I try to get some help for I’m paranoic?

it’s a bug. sometimes you have to disable it multiple times for it to really turn off. also, sometimes the atribute just turns on/off by itself too.

Provoke was the first attribute I got to level 5 since it seemed coo. But I have no idea what it does.

Can you explain it to me?
I think it makes enemies attack you but I’m not sure.

That, it does. It increases the aggro generated in the one you’re attacking, making him not change his target from you, in every hit you give.

Or, at least, your provoke does, cause mine’s an upgraded version that makes every mob in the range of my vision to rush towards me, even if i’m just sitting there and enjoying some marshmallows.

Also, turning it off multiple times didn’t change anything to me ;_;

Go Pelt for your next rank :wink:

Seriously though I didn’t know it did that even though I already bought the attributes. In my opinion, I wouldn’t turn it off forever since swordies need all the mobs they can bunch together since other classes are more likely to steal targets from you long before you can even hit them with your weapon.
