Tree of Savior Forum

A little help to people who dont understand what P2W means

p2w is a word used when u actually win or have to buy it in order to progress.

in this game nothing is needed to progress. u dont have to pay for anything.

and in this case its called Pay for convience. not Pay to win. since it doesnt win u anything. if you cry about this u should really just leave and play nothing.

P2W = Use Real money to get items that buff your power or

acquire things you can’t afford with silver that give you a stat bonus and skill power.

no thats actually called P2W since u need to pay to progress

again i already said that… in a way even kids would understand

Pay to Win = Reach a state that cant be reached by non-paying players.

Pay for Convenience = Reach a state faster or easier than a non-paying player.

Apparently you don’t understand P2W as much as you think you do as you can’t distinguish it from pay gateing.

But good luck with miss informing people with poor definitions.

At least your right about one thing IToS is pay for convenience for now.

dont talk like u know lol…

i know your using google to p2w… lol

as i said everything i said about p2w is correct

and what u are saying is something behind a paywall < This isnt the same as p2w. as the game might be a game required to pay for first…

so please dont spread wrong information.

and the only reason for why i did this is cause alot of people are spamming the forums with Next patch is P2W…

which it isnt.

if u want P2W go check out Maplestory… Its the world worst p2w game out there.

I know what P2W is. Im simply stating you can’t distinguish P2W and pay gateing which remains true.

apprently u dont lol.

get your facts right before u speak again please…

pay gating isnt even a word it’s something u came up with. trying to sound cool.

u might want to research on what p2w means first.

now dont spam anymore

Eventually someone else is going to come into your spam thread and tell you the exact same thing as me. And you’ll tell them they are wrong too.

Clearly i can’t explain definitions to brick, i was a fool for trying.

THIS. /hello20characters

well thats because u sorta ■■■■■■ up on exp cards.

since in this game u need to save cards from Lvl 4 cards all the way to 165. where u should have alot of cards and then u use them from 165 and in theory u should reach 200 or so. i ■■■■■■ up myself and i had to restart a new character. was lvl 171 and complety stuck no quest, exploration or anything to do expect for dungeons, missions which would require me to grind for weeks before reaching 200.

iToS is p2w idk how you are so blind @simonlvschal

OH lol, I cant believe i posted that on the wrong thread :joy:
I had like 5 tabs on, I was so confused

I’m gonna make up my own definition so that I win the argument of p2w everytime.

I’m gonna just refer to those who oppose my opinion as Kid.

Gr8 Job m8 I rate 5/7

Pay to win is when a game company sells stuff that gives an in game advantage through micro transactions. So, it’d be like if Blizzard started selling gear in the blizzard store. Pay to win is generally in Free to Play games.

The definition given by most of the result on first page of a simple search mostly dictate that Tree of Savior is p2w.

Sure, you can find rare result that support you occasionally few page after, but that’s just being biased to search result.

Let me guess, next you will go Google Result is unreliable.

ToS is definitely P2W. Silver lining tho, currently all the cash shop items do not give you that big of an advantage…
