That’s a fair opinion, and I don’t necessarily disagree with it. More balanced cash shop items means that the game will theoretically make more money on said items. This will, in turn, mean the game (hopefully) won’t have to resort to selling unfair items to fund itself.
But wouldn’t the problem with this type of gems attached on equipment RMT be that it could go on undetected? It would be stealthier than the more common types of item based RMT strategies because you could change the name it would be listed on the market. You can’t put recipes and stuff in a pouch and change the listing name for them.
The smallest implementation this would cause that the gems could become tradeable this way if they currently aren’t.
I’m assuming gem attached items are tradeable on these cases then. None of these are worth discussing and thinking about if this isn’t the case.
Yes, but selling items for the item itself must be listed for the amount it is worth, with an appropriate market tax.
“Selling” an expensive gem inside of a cheap item skips all of that without needing a Token on either side.
It would be VERY easy to track monster gem sales, given how rare they are. If an account sells more than say 5 in a week, something is suspicious and the account could be looked into. It could be a way of stealthily detecting RMT sales if nothing else. They should already be doing this with Ardes Dagger, but I doubt they are.
If you are selling an item cheaply to avoid market taxes, that is incredibly risky already. I doubt this would be a source for major exploitation.
Kind of good point but because of that same rarity, the botters would be likely selling them from different accounts as well because one account can’t farm that many of them. That is, if the botters aren’t stupid enough to gather all the valuable items on specific seller accounts, like they probably do with silver.
Stat reset potion pls!! Take my money!!
I considered it in greater detail, and revised my thoughts. I still think monster gems should be tradeable for free BUT in addition, this item could be implemented as well so that people who wish to reuse their gems can extract them safely. This would ensure that free players still get access to monster gems on the market while providing the convenience and utilty of this item.
Yeah, I have to agree that would be the best option as well.
Good Luck ever scrolling your own 3 HCs with the one free enchant scroll every day you get especially across several characters.
The freeTPs are most likely used on megaphones. If you manage to save them for enchant scrolls it means you are not announcing dungeon groups that need reinforcement or bosses or in other words leech of FreeTPs of others.
Now technically you can buy the HCs for silver, but once people realize their real value that will be out the window anyhow. Determining if something is P2W or not has to be done with a timeframe in mind to catch up to a whale.
Once you can buy TPs the whales will have perfect HCs within days, while you might need a year - a year at a considerable disadvantage.
That is not even considering that the whale can buy straight up silver for RM via tokens. Silver equals power unless you think having all dmg attributes on lvl 100 is not an advantage or simply buying what you need from the market not minding the price.
Considering how reasonable they already are on the marketplace, items aren’t going to be that expensive with really good enchants. Also, if there are going to be ‘whales’ (which there very obviously aren’t, since this game is far from p2w to any sane person), they’d already be here, since they’d be willing to spend the $10 to play.
If by reasonable priced you mean people used their 5 free enchant scrolls without any knowledge about the value, then yeah.
GL finding triple elemental attack in a month that doesn’t cost you all you have and btw the whales are there but they can simply only buy the three founder packs and nothing more. Come F2P they can properly purchase TP and then they will rocket ahead you ya’ll
You can pick up double elementals for 700k already, and if you don’t have 700k, then this isn’t really even a discussion.
With the cross server GvG that is being developed, the server with the top guild of the week gets the free tp limit raised to 8.
Which means nobody else can get them…
That only helps the top guild. What about the small guilds that have no hope of winning anything?
I generally don’t like joining big guilds that invite players randomly and surely there’s more people that don’t like it.
Enhancement scrolls and anything else p2w that gets added should AT least be available for market, just like the token.
Alternatively, setting it to 5 tp each is another option, not as good one, but at least it’s something.
…and players from the same server as the top guild. They are currently planning on making it server wide reward and it would last until the next guild tournament.
Oh the server, totally misread that, sorry, LOL.
Um, yeah, I guess it’s fine then.
So long as you’re on that server… so 75% of the player base cannot enchant their gear once every 32 hours. Which gets even worse if they ever add new servers.
Yeah, that’s still a concern, so I still think that pricing these things at 5 TP is the best solution, or simply allowing them to be sold at the market.
