A few questions about swords!

Hello!
I have a few questions about swords.
Consider that I’m aiming to:
R1 Swordsman
R2 Peltasta - Just to block some attacks -
R3 Barbarian

  1. Can a Barbarian use one handed sword + shield?
  2. Will the Barbarian’s damage be lower than using a two handed sword?
  3. Can a Barbarian (or any class higher) block attacks if he/she was a Peltasta before?

  2. Ye probably since two handed swords does more dmg than one handed swords and u wont be able to use skills that requires two handed swords ( if there is some )
  3. not sure about that one but i guess yes.

Since peltasta block is an attribute that you buy, once you have it you will have it for your character, it’s like any other attributes for wielding a weapon, once you unlocked it with a class you have it for every higher class ^^

My friend said that any class that uses a shield can block. Is that true?
If yes, does Peltasta has a block rate bonus?

Yes since every shield has a block rate according to their description.
as for peltasta they have purchasable skill to increase block rate by pressing C button, the class also have High Guard buff,at rank 2, which increases block rate at the cost of lowered damage.

Be mindful that Rodelero also has the same attribute.
