A few more general questions (shops/cards)

Are we unable to open shops now and switch chars? I wasn’t able to do it with my squire earlier and didn’t know if I was forgetting how to do it.

Is templeshooter still the goto for sorcerer?

If so, how do I obtain cards to level it up? You need a lot to level it up to 10, I have a lot on my alt but I’m unsure as to how I got so many as I haven’t gotten any since I came back

Also, I’m really poor from just buying a weapon, I’m 217 atm and farming for armor hopefully, sick of level 15/40 stuff. Is silver just a market game or is there an actual effective way to grind it out ingame?

You can. I believe sometimes it bugs.

Templeshooter is an easy and strong card to get. There are others that are good too, but I’m too lazy to list them. Try checking the Sorcerer thread.

The level 50 dungeon is currently good. You might have to reroll(20,000) the cube to get it. Though, this might change in the future since rerolling will be gone from dungeon cubes.
Dullahan and Abomination are easy ways to get cards as well with 2 hour spawn time.

Hunting Ground armors are good to use. If you’re a Sorcerer, however, you’re pretty limited to SPR equipments.
I believe, people have characters focused on farming. SRs can kill fast, Thaums can double drops and Corsairs can pillage. This is later on though, at level 217 I would focus more on leveling up than equipments.

I seem to be leveling mostly just grinding for hours and hours on mobs anyway, is hunting grounds a horrible place to level? Main reason I wanted gear was so I can finally solo mercenary missions when I do my daily dungeons becuase the queue is always dead, and because I’m just grinding for hours anyway so I might as well get gear out of it.

So farming cards is something I do after I cap…? Dungeons seem to be the only way to quickly level up and I only get 3 a day… Wasting it on a level 50 dungeon sounds pretty dumb, I guess I can leave my sorcerer weak and just keep grinding on mobs until I eventually reach 330 or something?

Something just feels really wrong…
And I get everyone keeps saying don’t do gear until you cap but it’s like… Then they tell me to solo and I get homed with 2 attacks and die…

From my experience, Hunting Ground isn’t good for exp. Strong Pardoner buffs should be able to carry you for a while. Though, it doesn’t really help with summons.

If you have other characters, you can farm the level 50 dungeon with them. You can hunt and kill Dullahan, it drops cards often and costs 50,000 to reroll. There’s 1 on each channel and they have a respawn time of 2 hours.

You can get armor if you feel like you need it. There are a few items that are Sorcerer’s go-to items. They have high SPR and are around level 170 and 220 equipments. In fact, I believe that’s what most Sorcerers would use even at level 330.

go fast leveling to 240 and do saalus everyday. saalus canyon give 150k, saalus royal 120k

I mean I really don’t know how to “fast level”, it takes hours. Quests and cards seem to be the only good way to level, but I’ve been seeing very few lately.

I stopped waiting 2 hours for 1 mercenary mission too

for your level you can party grind at alemeth/cranto coast/igti coast/sentry bailey’s evacuation. do you know that you get free 1 TP every 4 hour which maxed at 5 free TP? using this TP you can trade to 1 megaphone and make a party named “map_name grind” and shout it out looking 4 more member

I find it kind of hilarious how the new “fast method” is actually the slow tedious method we all used before missions/dungeons became super easy to sweep through with clears and multipliers…

You should probably just come out and say you have to grind for EXP rather than implying there’s some faster method.

i never wrote new fast method, just wrote fast leveling to 240 to play saalus ASAP. When dungeon and mission are done for the day, the only way to fast leveling left are questing and grinding… oh and 100% map exploring in higher level map.

You’re kind of implying it’s a fast method by literally calling it “fast levelling” my dude.

it is a faster method than waiting for the next day’s dungeon/mission quota and do nothing.
OP seems confused which one to prioritize first, gear, leveling or money. I suggest to go fast leveling to 240 asap (because 1 run of saalus can give 120-150k), he ask me how, i looked through his replies (he already questing and doing dungeon/mission) and the only non redudant answer is party grinding.
My important point is to reach lv 240 asap, regardless his way of leveling
