Sorry but your example was wrong and your extra arguments don’t have much weight in practice. Swordsmen are bad because they have awful damage, period. All of those limitations you mentioned exist because it’s a melee class. Swordsmen don’t have to do 60k damage a hit to become relevant in PvE, they just have to offer enough damage/utility to be worth a party slot even with the inherent downtime that comes from being melee and having to move around and dodge hits. That is the whole point of a melee class.
They really just need more damage/lower cds and a little utility for each damage dealing class, like for example barbarians warcry affecting your party or rodelero’s stuns to be able to interrupt boss skills or something.
