A build for my girl

My friends and my girl are planning on playing TOS upon open beta ( one of them has already started and gathering equips for us) and we have disseminated the roles and my girlfriend was left with the “tanking postion” aka swordie > pelt i wanted to know if pelt 2 and pellt 3 worth it ( heard pelt 3 is not) and build would she go next after pelt ( she is quite new to MMORPG so giving her a skill rotation with lots of dps is quite hard for her to learn yet and i would love if you give me a pure tank build that could accommodate our party.

A popular Korean girlfriend build goes like this
Pelt hop2 squire 2 with the last rank could be either Templar to be guild leader, dragoon for damage, or just continue squire.

I don’t know much about Peltasta, but if you want something tanky, easy and funny, I had a ton of fun playing Hoplite.
You can build it with lots of CON since you get so much Crit from Finestra you won’t need high dex at all, plus Hoplite hits really hard on most bosses.

Peltesta gives you swashbuckling, attracts mobs
With finestra lvl 10, your block rate increases so does your crit.
Press C from the Peltesta class attribute and your set to go in regards to tanking

if you’re playing as friends she could get carried with a full tank with pelt and squire/rodel, then templar.

i wouldnt waste a character slot on tank swordie if i wasnt going templar.
thats me though.

Yeah, Pelt 2 is pretty bad honestly. You don’t ever really need more than Pelt 1 for tanking.

Pelt > Hop2 > Squire 2 is a solid build.
She could also go Pelt > Hop2 > Rod2, which offers more tankiness/CC, but less team/out of battle utility.

And if she’s going tanky, she should probably end with Templar at rank 7, unless you guys already know someone else who’s guild you want to join. And in that case, she should finish off either Rodelero or Squire.
