A banned player story goes like this

In my head this is how the story of a player that gets ban goes( is a joke):

Games comes out, he does not want to put the hours it takes to get things done, so he buys silver or uses a bot program. It could also be a Z-Hold that look suspicious or the company not wanting that type of behavior(this last part only applies to ToS as i never seen a game that had auto-attack afk farm).

So they feel like this at this point:

Then GM’s get reports or start their own investigation and start giving out free achievements:

Said players follow to make public thread that meets with replies from the community that look like this:

Word of advice if you think is a wrongful ban, contact the staff through the support ticket system.

I guess not we know the gray area, might not be so gray after all this bans.

But I didn’t do anything wrong, I bought dlc on all my real legit stema accounts and I have lots of playtime and am very loyal player looking to put long term investment in game and I don’t cheat just look at my IP address false ban!!!1!!

You know, if they wanted multiple Steam accounts they could have just waited for the free to play release so they didn’t have to spend $180+ for each Steam account.

Just natural selection at work banning them.

Well, when free to play comes we’ll get the purchasing founder’s packs on multiple Steam accounts thing out of the way. Will just have to wonder how to deal with “Even more easier to have multiple Steam account bots” with founder’s packs gone and anyone can play.

That’s when we’ll need IP bans.

Ditto, is one of those moments when having tons of money to spend work against them. The irony on this is crazy funny.

Mhm, even though its been a while since any game has actually used IP bans. Normally they just ban the account, since they know the person is very likely to create another, so he buys more stuff with real money.

Creating bot accounts in free to play probably doesn’t need to use any money, unless person decides to get token etc. Although I can see mathematically how you can rake in cash that way lol.
