I am also testing this. I hear the drop rate is potentially insane. I guess it comes down to luck if you end up getting one in any reasonable amount of time or kills. The range I hear is 500 to 95k kills and one person claiming to have killed 100k+ and nothing yet.
I have this thing for going after incredibly rare items I don’t know if I can stop until I see one hit the ground lol.
If I happen to get one to drop I will take a screenshot of the item on the ground in front of me etc to prove once and for all that this item DOES drop and does drop from infrorocktors. IF I can get one to drop that is.
I will also sell the boater in the market because it looks heinous. Sorry it just isn’t my thing.

What class are you guys using to hunt infrorcktors? I’m just wondering coz I think my phase is pretty slow

I’m using cata and can kill 1k per 30-1hr depending on how much I alt tab.

what if you guys actually manage to make it drop but you did not see it because it was blocked by tree or “swallowed by the earth” (item turns invisible but still obtainable)
There’s addon that shows all drops on ground (even sunk one) with Diablo 3 style drop visual.
Ah I see, At least that’s one thing less to worry about.
May I know what’s the name of the addon? I tried searching in Google and seem to not find any. I’m kinda always experiencing the sunk items part and almost missed an Infrorocktor Gem myself so that’ll be really helpful. I’d kill myself if it happened to the boater itself lol.
