LMAO you’re killing me here.

I have begun my journey. Thank you for the confirmation!

Will post back here every 10,000 kills and let everyone know. I farm about 1,000 every 15 minutes, so it shouldnt be too long

:confounded: goodluck

Well, who needs weekends anyways. The hunt begins…

Tbh, if the hat takes that long to get from mindlessly killing that many monsters, I don’t want it anyway. There are cuter hats (that also go better with outfits) in my opinion.

This isn’t about having an enjoyable and accomplishd gaming/ exploration experience; this is is about wasting time where I could be doing something more productive. I’ll stick with my simple Luffy boater.

Until you have killed or checked loot of Infrorocktor the Boater Hat is in superposition - it both exists and doesnt.

So we can dub that hat: Schrodinger's Boater. http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/832/294/3db.jpg

Changing channels or staying on same one shouldnt mater.

I never changed channel since I started farming it. I notice a pattern of drops since. Example being, the weapon always drop as Club>Club>Rod pattern, and repeats until now. And all of time, Red Orb always drops first, then Blue Orb drops after few hundred more kills. This feels like DPK on work but I have no solid number due to its not a static kills count for each to drop.

It does matter actually, and… a freaking LOT. :smile_cat:
Just wanted to know since he actually had enough patience to kill that amount from the same type of monster, while accounting the drops.
My point is still the same, 50.000 is a ridiculously small quantity if you switch channels based on the RNG method I’ve pointed out, unless of course you’re fully dependent on your golden luck, which can happen by killing one, or one million. With a flat % you can have an average number by killing a consistent amount, it always leads to the same average if you do it with consistency, even when you’re lucky, the average is always solid. In this game it works differently, you can’t feel it affecting standard drops, only super rare drops, since their rotation is very, very, very, long… probably 50.000 could still be a small quantity even for the rotation method, people who gets it are the ones with the golden luck to be at the right place in the right time.
I believe the game didn’t want to put a flat % to make drops be more dynamic, and less “controlled” by farmers, and since ToS is highly economic based I can understand that, even though not enjoying that much.

Thank you so much for your reply.
But hey, I do think, maybe, the hat has a much larger rotation than 50.000, if it was only 50k a lot of people would be wearing that right now.
Your effort was completely amazing, but it’s easier to follow a pattern with small quantity, but now let’s say… the monster needed to be killed: 245.467 times (hypotetically). You’ve chosen to eliminate 50.000 from that, but you didn’t know where you were in the line, probably lacking by 100, probably lacking by 100.000, and so on, no one knows…
Thank you again for staying at the same channel, you’ve made the community aware that the hat is in fact intended to be ACTUALLY RARE in the game.

That’s ur class? I’m wiz, rocktors drop 2rods1club for me

I’m gonna bring my gems there so whenever i got overweight I just use those trash items to enhance it.

Let the HUNT begin :sparkles:

It does exist, however it is possibly the rarest item in this game right now. Nothing else has a lower chance to drop. You’re likely to drop several monster gems before you ever see the headgear drop.

But good luck. RNG luck may be on your side.

I got 7 gems on 60k kills so far.

Hat please, come to mamaaaaaaaaaaaaa ;A;

your gonna die in lag and drop all of them and be pissed off about it

I stop farming it when my server/router derping or storm outside :v
Either way, that gonna be my worst nightmare that gonna haunt me forever :frowning:

What if someone steal one single turtle and drop the hat right before your eyes? O:
Yes im sadist

I second this. I just got an Infrorocktor Gem -> Red Orb -> Blue Orb at 9900+ kills. Haven’t encountered a gold mob though. You guys think it makes that sound when it drops like Kepa Dolls/Other equipment do?

Whoa there, calm down satan :<

Yes it does produce same sound as weapon drops. All hats does actually.
